Germany continues its persecution of Shia Muslims and notably Lebanese shia, closing their mosques and centers under alleged claims of terrorism and Hezbullah.

And despite all unconditional searches, none have been charged with a crime and no terrorist related material seized.

⋯ The latest victim was Imam Mahdi Center in Münster-Hiltrup (North Rhine-Westphalia).

It was closed due to claims that it was a meeting place for Lebanese Hezbullah members. Two apartments where searched but nothing was found. This persecution is abetted by Israel and Jewish NGOs.

🇸🇦🇬🇧 Just one day after Saudi Arabia beheaded its 100th prisoner this year (a majority of them being dissidents), the British PM Boris Johnson visited the kingdom to stabilize the oil market.

USA officials are expected to visit KSA soon.

⋯ And while the west is sanctioning Russia over its war in Ukraine, the west is cozing up to Egypt, UAE, and KSA despite their ongoing war of aggression and invasion of Yemen.

The Yemen war is more than 7 years old and is ongoing, with millions of casualties, famine, and blockade.

Chemical weapons during Iraq's war on Iran (1980-1988).

From at least 1983, Saddam Hussein used prohibited chemical weapons against Iranian troops, civilians & Kurdish population, such as the “Tabun nerve agent (GA)”. Iraq could not produce them itself and was “heavily dependent on foreign equipment”, e.g. from Italy. (RT)

In March 1988, “Iraq launched a nerve gas attack on separatist Kurdish village of Halabja, some 240km northeast of Baghdad, killing 5,000, while 7,000 more suffered long-lasting health problems”. It was dubbed the ‘Blessed Ramadan Offensive’ and became the largest use of chemical weapons in modern history. (RT)

Iran refrained from using such weapons, as Iran's leader Ruhollah Khomeini wanted, but research was initiated in 1983 and development was later publicly acknowledged. The US DoD said Iran used chemical artillery shells/bombs, but it had also accused Iran for Halajba (a lie, now dismissed). In 1997, Iran became a party of the Chemical Weapons Convention.
