According to the official Israeli narrative, the blue line is the final/official border between Lebanon and Israel, where the IDF built the border wall in the Israeli side and meters away from the blue line aka far from the border of Lebanon. The IDF is allowed to cross the fence https://t.co/G3aIudBUUs
However that's not true at all, as Israel, Leb, and the UN know that there is exactly 13 contested points along the border claimed by Israel but are actually part of Lebanon. These 13 points make up 114 Km on the border. The blue line is a retreat line and not the official border https://t.co/o8pcOt7vZK
Lebanon has insisted on finding a solution to these 13 points, including the occupied Lebanese territories still under Israeli occupation in Al Ghajar, Kafarshoba, and Shebaa, before the official border can be decided and passed as official and final.
Therefore when you hear about the contested oil field in the sea in block 9 between Israel and Lebanon, it's due to the difference in this border that translates to a difference in the maritime border
The USA has been since 2016 trying to convince Lebanon to surrender the points https://t.co/alBragxBgh

This was discussed by the UN, the US ambassador, CENTCOM commander, and others. They asked Lebanon to give up on them. So it's kinda naive to say they are Israeli, when if true no one would have asked Lebanon to give them up

One of these points happens to be in Udaysi, in the exact area where the band was and according to Lebanon and the consensus on undefined border it was Lebanese and the wall itself is located in contested areas. Its building was halted in 2019 due to the fact it's CONTESTED. https://t.co/sREJLJWfdm
This was when a limited peaceful confrontation happened between the Lebanese army and the IDF where the army brought in bulldozers while the IDF was there with a Merkava overseeing the wall (Images above). Similar confrontation happened when the IDF entered CONTESTED areas there https://t.co/yJvOvjjeHL
And what's funny about this all is that the road in the village is after the blue line, as in, in the areas claimed by Israel as their own. So your going to tell me the IDF allowed a road inside their territory and movement? No they didn't. It's simply that this area in contested https://t.co/DpESCsJScS
Hopefully this clears out things and shows that the band didn't cross into israeli (Palastinian) territory and the IDF would have arrested them, and that it was inside Lebanese areas claimed by Israel. The drone itself was taken control of and didn't cross the contested wall. END
The issue isn't simple, this happened for a reason then in that area.
The area is not Israeli, or at least it's not finalized as so. It is still contested. https://t.co/vNg5sweGMK

The aim of this project is to give Hezbollah a strategic offensive capability that would directly threaten Israelis, and we will not tolerate that https://t.co/T6Fcg1Md68
