The document was signed by FPM Vice-President May Khoreiche, in the presence of the heads of international relations of United Russia and the FPM, Senator Andrei Klimov and Bashir Haddad, respectively. The text mentions that both parties would “exchange expertise, ideas as well as visits.”

Beginning of Ramadan: The International Astronomy Center said that most countries will investigate the crescent of the month of Ramadan on Friday, April 01, but on this day, seeing the crescent is not possible with the naked eye from anywhere in the Islamic world.

As for using a telescope, it is not possible to see the crescent from most parts of the Islamic world, with the exception of small parts in the far west of Africa.
