It's baffling when you consider that, during the 34-day invasion of Lebanon in 2006, the IDF had 50 tanks either fully damaged, damaged, or temporarily out of battle for repair. It shows how abundant ATGMs are in Ukraine and how scarce they were in Lebanon in 2006. (1/2)

⋯ But unlike Russia in 2022, Israeli tanks can't be killed as easy as Russian tanks. The trophy has proved its worth as a defense system and the Merkava as a very safe platform for the crew when penetrated by ATGMs.

Israel's biggest-selling newspaper, Yediot Ahronot, revealed on 23 March that the security establishment is letting IDF reserve officers train the Ukrainians against Russia: «The instructors are reserve officers in the IDF, veterans of the Sayeret Matkal [General Staff Reconnaissance Unit] and other elite units, with a rich combat history.»
The Israeli team is «headed by Dany (a pseudonym), who served in an elite unit in the IDF» and first came to Ukraine in 1997 and was there in 2014. «The cover chosen for the activities of the Israeli fighters is to rescue Jews from various regions of Ukraine.» Another Israeli instructor in Ukraine, M., explains: «The prevailing assumption, which is gaining traction in government circles and in Ukraine's intelligence apparatus, is that this war could go on for a long time.»

The IDF participated in the “Iniohos” International Air Force Exercise in Greece.
There were the 253rd and 201st F-16i squadrons from the Ramon Base, and the 122nd Squadron’s “Nachson” G-550 from the Nevatim Base. The aircraft simulated air-to-air combat scenarios, dealing with an advanced surface-to-air missile threat, combat maneuvers in enemy territory, flying in unfamiliar areas and practicing joint flight maneuvers.
