On this day in 1970, Israel bombed Bahr el-Baqar primary school in the Egyptian village of Bahr el-Baqar killing 46 children and injuring more than 50. The whole school was levelled by US made F-4 jets.

The Islamic Resistance - Hezbullah mourns the martyrdom of Mahdi Muhammad Mughniyeh from the southern town of Aitit, who rose while carrying out his duty. RIP 🌹
Mahdi is the younger brother of Haytham Mughniyeh who was killed along with Ali Kawtharani and Hadi Nasrallah, the son of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, in 1997.
