IDF continues its undiscriminate punishment of Jenin locals and the families of fighters, where an IDF unit shot towards the car of the brother and mother of Raed Hazem.

None are suspected of any crime but being relatives.

Palestine: War Minister Benny Gantz has signed administrative arrest orders against two Palestinians with Israeli citizenship suspected of planning attacks.

This might mark the first time ever an Israeli is placed under such arrest.

⋯ Israel's administrative detention is without trial, charge, and time limit (normally unseen in democracy). It is used when Israel wants to punish a Palestinian for his political activity, but the latter didn't commit any “crime”, so he is placed in prison for long periods in an attempt to knock him/her down, effectively neutralizing without killing.

⋯ Ali Ibrahim, head of the Bakery Owners Syndicate in Lebanon, confirmed to "Al-Nahar" that "today will be the last day for making bread or distributing flour in the event that funds are not secured to purchase wheat ships."

Of those killed yesterday by the IDF, was a 17 y/o minor who was far from IDF soldiers, unarmed, while the IDF was raiding a town in internationally-recognized as occupied West Bank.

⋯ According to the medical examination, he was shot with an expanding bullet, locally called “al-dumdum bullet” (from the British-produced bullets in Dum Dum, India).

These bullets destroy bones and chunks of flesh, making any medical attempts to stop bleeding severely complicated, raising the chances of death. The use of expanding bullets for warfare is a war crime and prohibited by The Hague Convention of 1899, but it has been disputed by the USA, and these bullets remain in the arsenal of many countries' law enforcement.

The Lebanese Doctors Syndicate sent a letter to the ruler of UAE, pleading to free Dr.Kharrat: "We hope that Dr. Richard Al-Kharrat will be released as soon as possible."

Days after the Saudi ambassador arrived, he started his preparations for the upcoming Lebanese elections, where he concluded several political and religious visits and then hosted 14-March parties for an Iftar.

14-March parties will include Kataeb and other "opposition" parties.
