Coastal areas are witnessing the formation of dense fog, especially in the capital Beirut, as result of an atmospheric factor known as “thermal inversion”, when there is low temperature on the coast and high humidity due to wind and sea water temperature.

France-based candidate for the upcoming parliamentary elections Omar Harfoush organized an election rally today in Tripoli, where organizers promised all participants money (5$).

However after not providing, people took the plastic chairs from the rally as a compensation.

Hezbullah's SG Sayed Hasan Nasrallah will deliver a religious speech tomorrow after 9 pm on the occasion of the holiest night of Ramadan, on the 3rd Laylat Al-Qadr.

The speech will be part of the several hour long prayers done that night.

The IDF fired several flares over the border wall between Kafr Kila and the settlement of "Al-Mutalla", two of which fell on the Lebanese side.

⋯ Tense situation in al-Qubba region, where a number of young men are blocking roads in the Rifa and Al-Baqar neighborhoods using burning tires.

⬥ In Tripoli, Bab Al-Tabbaneh Highway was cut off. Shops closed in the area of Al-Qubba, and stray bullets stroke several houses.

Tripoli: Clashes occurred in the al-Qubba area between locals over hanging a picture of Ashraf Rifi and civil war criminal Samir Geagea, which later developed into shooting.

One have been killed while the shooter escaped.

Rallies ongoing, removing all political posters. Tripoli hosts Lebanon's and MENA's richest but is one of the poorest and most marginalized cities.

Richest Lebanese are several Sunni-born families from the city.
