Director General of Lebanese Public Security Major General Abbas Ibrahim left Beirut this morning, on a private American plane, heading to Washington on an official visit during which he will meet with senior officials in the American administration.
Abbas Ibrahim will visit Syria soon to discuss with Syrian authorities the fate of an American that went missing in Syria ten years ago.

Earlier in February, the ex-IDF soldier & current American energy envoy, Amos Hochstein, visited Lebanon to threaten the authorities against claiming a border beyond the lines № 1 and 23.
