The situation regrading the southern waters seems to be the first true escalation that could lead to an actual long military confrontation between Lebanon & Israel since 2006.

In 2006, Saudi Arabia called the Hezbullah operation on the border an adventure that led to war.

A few important points:

1- Nasrallah asked to halt the production in all of Karish. This goes beyond line 29.

2- Will Israel defy Hezbullah's threats like it did will Hamas's regarding the flag march?

3- Will the Greek ship withdraw or halt operations, citing security threats?

Research, which was published on Thursday, demonstrates that Israeli jets and UAVs violated Lebanon's airspace at least 22,000 in the past 15 years alone.
