Al-Hajj was arrested with 460,000 USD given to him by Lebanese living in Israel from SLA ranks. The SLA is a militia that fought alongside Israel and helped the IDF occupy Lebanon for 22 years.
Maronite Archbishop of Haifa and the Holy Land, Moussa al-Hajj was apprehended by the Directorate of General Security for smuggling $460,000, €4,000, and a car-load of medicine from Israel, which he intended to bring into Lebanon.

2- Claude Ibrahim, representative of the Shin Bet official Eliezer Zefrir,

4- Colonel Yigal Pressler, representative of the Israeli prime minister in charge of managing the file of the SLA.
Al-Hajj was present alongside all, and met each of these aforementioned Israeli officials.
