Update by Israeli media: Israeli army Chief Aviv Kohavi confirms the Israeli Air Force struck a convoy on the Syria-Iraq border in early November:

"Out of 25 trucks, truck number 8, this is the truck carrying the arms."

Anger against UNIFIL in South Lebanon

4 UN soldiers were injured in a feud with locals after the soldiers trespassed on their land in Al-Aqabiyeh. Animosity was reciprocal as the UN force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) attempted to ram the locals with their vehicle. The latter flipped. Shots were fired.

According to regulations, UNIFIL soldiers are not allowed to operate without the Lebanese army escorting them.

⋯ UNIFIL announces in a statement that one of its members was killed and others were injured as a result of what happened last night in Al-Aqabiyeh, south Lebanon.

The soldier is from Ireland.

UNIFIL soldiers in South Lebanon continue their UN-mandated task to spy on Lebanon on behalf of Israel.

That, while they fail to stop or report Israel's daily violations of Lebanon.

The area is outside the operation zone of the UNIFIL occupation forces – 16 ⁠km north of the Litani River. UNIFIL said that the vehicle was en route to Beirut.

According to Al-Jazeera’s report, some sources stated that the vehicle “had gotten lost”: “This is not considered to be their normal route”. The normal route (Coastal Highway) is adjacent to this road. “There was a crowd in the street, it was just after the World Cup match.”  The vehicle went through the village, likely from Sarafand.

Hezbullah mourns the death of Ali Moussa Zein, who died due to blood cancer.

He was previously injured by sharpnel while fighting ISIS & Al-Qaeda in Syria, a few years ago.
