In the lastest spy story, the Mossad recruited a Lebanese from Hezbullah's community of supporters to spy on the organization, people, and country.

The story is about Amir Z, born in 1997, who studied at a medical institute the profession of nursing until 2021. He left his job to work as a barber and cosmetics sale representative in Beirut's southern suburbs.

However investigations have revealed that he started to work with the Mossad all the way back to 2017, after a fake job offer he found online about a "money transfer company."

⋯ Online job offers have been Mossad's go to way of recruiting low-profile individuals in Lebanon.

Amir was told that the job he applied to is simple: Money is transfered to him, he takes a cut, then gives the money to whom they inform him to deliver it to. Amir accepted, and the first transaction he received was 750 USD, from which he was given 100 USD.

Shortly after, his manager asked him some personal questions and made sure he lives in Dahyeh (Beirut's southern suburbs). Remarkably, the Mossad agent directly opened up and asked Amir if he's willing to sell information about Hezbullah. Amir said yes, before informing the Mossad agent that he's part of Hezbullah's Educational Reserves (School and University students), and did Ansar 1&2 training courses (Courses done by Hezbullah for religious teaching). This assured his Mossad handler.

Amazingly, the investigations in Lebanon revealed Amir was never part of the educational reserves or part of any Hezbullah course. He simply wanted to ensure he secured this well paying job from the Mossad.

⋯ His first payment was 2,500 USD and he was asked to provide information about his family, friends, neighbours, and his whole neighborhood...Hay Al Selloum. He was asked about political and military affiliation of these people and about any Hezbullah centers.

Amir shared information about the Hezbullah centers there and the names of its officials that attend these places. He was then asked to find information about two building compounds in Haret Hreik and find out who from Hezbullah lives there. Additionally, he was tasked with finding the entrances and taking photos, which he was too afraid to do.

Amir was later asked to get details about the shops around the buildings, and to find information about the entrances to Sayed Al Shuhada compound. It serves as a place where Hezbullah performs its religious gatherings. The Mossad asked about special or hidden entry doors. They also asked if the security personnel carry weapons, and what their level of training was.

⋯ Additionally, Amir claims the Mossad offered him 15,000 USD for any information about Hezbullah's Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and 10,000 USD for information about his deputy Naim Qassem. They also asked about religious speaker Sheikh Ali Sleem.

Throughout the remaining period, he was tasked with taking photographs of countless places around Dahyeh. In total, he was paid less than 6,000 USD and was handed the money from a Syrian who owned a clothes shop in Hay al-Selloum.

Amir was one the least impactful spies to be arrested, due to his lack of knowledge about anything and his failure to provide non-public information.

The information he gave is public, available online, or known by locals as open information.
