Media is reporting that the commander of the Lebanese army is in Haret Hreik to meet with officials from Hezbullah.

The Lebanese met representatives of the Israeli army at the UN HQ, as part of their monthly tripartite meetings to de-escalate.

The Lebanese delegation demanded the Israeli withdrawal from all occupied Lebanese lands, and halting all violations against Lebanon.

The Lebanese General Security denied Kuwaiti journalist Fajr Al-Saeed entry to Lebanon, due to an Israeli visit stamp on her passport.

Kuwait condemned her denial of entry, despite Kuwait's alleged anti-Israeli stance.

The Lebanese minister of foreign affairs met his Saudi counterpart, who thanked Lebanon for the fast response to free the Saudi citizen who was kidnapped in Lebanon.

Reportedly, the Lebanese army kidnapped relatives of the kidnappers, to pressure the release of the Saudi.

International Monetary Fund:

"Our director of the Middle East and Central Asia Region, Jihad Azour, is temporarily suspended from his work, and is currently on leave."

This is intended to allow his presidential bid to move on, without losing his job at the IMF.

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc:

"We will participate in the parliamentary session scheduled to elect the president next Wednesday, 14 June.

We will vote for Suleiman Franjieh, wishing him victory and Lebanon stability and advancement."

Outgoing commando brigade commander in the Israeli enemy army Manny Liberty:

"Hezbullah is a difficult enemy, it has thousands of rockets and anti-tank missiles, the next war will be difficult for us, it will be disgusting, it will be full of fire and soldiers will die."

⋯ The commander who left his post on 1 June 2023, added that:

"Just last week, the brigade’s headquarters along with the Maglan and Egoz Units, conducted a brigade exercise as part of the IDF exercise “Firm Hand” in the northern [simulating war with Hezbullah]."

⋯ Manny Liberty was replaced by Colonel Omer Cohen and will soon begin academic studies.

Kataeb party announce they will boycott the second session of the parliamentary gathering, if Sulaiman Franjieh has enough votes (65) to win in that round.

Both opposing blocs are expected to act in a similar fashion.
