During the war, Israel was negotiating and wishing an end to it but Lebanese officials were abetting the USA to pressure the IDF to continue the war and crush Hezbullah. https://t.co/RpqMA8yxe8

Haj Khalil: PM Senioira was asking us for harsher terms of surrender than the IDF itself. Not only did he tell us the war will continue until we fullfil all of the USA demands, give the two captive IDF soldiers to the Lebanese government, forfeit Lebanon's claim to Shebaa farms+ https://t.co/YT47hBhMAO

But also expand the duties of the UNIFIL in Lebanon, allowing them to work unrestricted and freely ( raid homes and arrest people).
