🔴 The Israeli army names another eight officers & soldiers killed since October 7, mostly on the border with the Gaza Strip.

In the second statement by the Israeli army on the situation in Lebanon:

"In the last half hour, shots were fired toward several IDF posts along the Lebanese border.

"In addition, an anti-tank missile was fired at an IDF tank."

"The IDF is responding with artillery fire toward the origins of the fire."

📝 Observation: Most tanks targeted on the Gaza strip and Lebanese border didn't have the trophy system activated. The radar was still covered.

The Israeli army valued the protection of the system's sensitive radar from the environment enough to sacrifice tanks in an active warzone!

Lebanon: Two houses were damaged in the town of Al-Duhayra and fire broke out inside them as a result of the Israeli attacks on the town.

Additionally, the artillery targetted the town of Al-Jubain.

🔴 The Israeli police in Jerusalem stormed Mea Shearim neighborhood for Jews who oppose Israel, to remove the Palestinian flags that they hung in the neighborhood.

Canadians also received an email from the embassy describing the situation in Lebanon, asking them to avoid travel south of Litani river.

🚨 Hezbullah issued a statement announcing they have attacked an Israeli Merkava tank in retaliation to Israel's killing of Ali Kamel Mohsin.

Mohsin was killed in July 2020 by the Israeli army in Syria.

The two leaders discussed regional developments in wake of Hamas's murderous assault against the citizens of Israel.

Prime Minister Netanyahu emphasized that Israel is determined to destroy Hamas's military and governing capabilities, and is making every effort to prevent harming non-combatants.

The two leaders agreed to keep in contact.

After Canada, the UK raises the alarm in Lebanon

In a statement, British nationals in Lebanon should register their presence with the FCDO through the link in Travel Advice.

The British Embassy has temporarily withdrawn family members of staff. It continues with essential work, including services to British nationals. FCDO continues to advise against all travel to some parts of Lebanon, including the areas south of the Litani River, and advises against all but essential travel to the rest of Lebanon
