Israeli settlers on the Lebanese border area afraid and angry
An Israeli settler in Kiryat Shmona faces a journalist who lied that the residents are safe, and added that she refuses to be moved with her family to Tel Aviv.
She just wants to move to somewhere with no sirens and live without fear of a rocket penetrating her house.
She adds that the government has failed.

💬 Head of Margaliot settlement Eitan Davidi:
“We are still alive because Hezbullah didn't decide to kill us yet. If we do not change the current reality, there will be no one willing to live in settlements near the border again.”
Historical background:
Margaliot is a Labour Zionist settlement (moshav) established in 1951 on the lands of the Hunin village, a disputed Lebanese/Palestinian land that was incorporated in the Safad district in 1948. It is named after an agronomist appointed by E. de Rothschild to supervise colonies in Galilee. Most of its residents are Jews from Iraq and Yemen.
With its stone houses and its crusader castles, it was described as a balcony on the Hula Plain due to its location on a slope close to Adaiseh and Hula.

Israel wants to bomb Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza
Israeli journalist Itay Blumental wrote that the Israeli army considers all 30,000 Palestinians who took shelter around Gaza's Shifa hospital are on Hamas orders, and are there to serve as human shields for Hamas leadership hiding in a bunker below.
This has been echoed by countless Israeli officials, including a Mossad director who said 'keep bombing and drilling that hospital with bombs'.

📝 Observation: The Israeli army is not interested in a ground invasion in Gaza and is hoping they can find and kill Hamas's leadership in a few days or weeks and use that to declare victory and then keep the war ongoing on very low intensity until they negotiate a release of hostages.
They would release women and children first for many Palestinian prisoners, then take way longer to release the security prisoners for the remaining hostages
If they fail to do that, they will be forced into the ground invasion.
On the other hand, the Israeli army's non-air force related branches displayed weakness and fragility. Less than two weeks into a war they are only engaging with from air, and the US had to send ammo, rockets, vehicles, and air defence weapons. This won't bode well in a long intensity war on other fronts.
