🔴 An ATGM was launched from Lebanon towards the Shlomi settlement in Western Galilee.

🔴 Israel announces to have killed a cell on the Lebanese border, stopping it before they launch an ATGM attack on Israel.

🌹 So far, Hezbullah has mourned 19 martyrs in the past two weeks on the Lebanese-Palestinian border.

🔴 The Israeli army issued a statement announcing the following:

- Hezbullah fired an air defence missile at an Israeli UAV but it was intercepted. The launch site was attacked by the army

- Israeli jets attacked Hezbullah infrastructure and observation points

- Three Israeli soldiers were injured today

Hezbullah's tactics in the past few days were successful and suffered no casualties during action, but evidently the Israeli army has adapted and now the cons and losses far outweigh the benefits.

How will Hezbullah adapt during this low intensity battle? Days will tell.

Unfortunately, Hezbullah's actions could stay limited because they don't want the Israeli army to shift focus from Gaza and focus fully on Lebanon.

The goal is to get the IDF distracted, to either not do a ground invasion in Gaza, or if it does, attack from the rear.

If the IDF shifts full focus and leaves Gaza to attack Lebanon, then that wouldn't be the optimal scenario.

🔴 Explosions heard in south Lebanon. Reason unknown.

📰 The Lebanese minister of foreign affairs, calls the events on the border a mere skirmish and a game.

He calls Hezbullah's martyr's victims, and compares them to Israeli soldiers, victims from the other side.

Additional flares were fired over Taybeh and Odaiseh areas.

Israeli artillery is attacking the outskirts of Al-Duhayra and Alma in southern Lebanon.

Additionally, about 10 shells were fired between Maroun Al-Ras and Aitaroun.

Yesterday night, the Israeli army claimed to have thwarted an ATGM attack against the northern community of Avivim.

🔴 Now: An Israeli tank fired a shell towards an area where an ATGM launch was carried out from Lebanon.

📰 Residents of another 14 settlements in northern Israel, close to the Lebanon border, will be evacuated to state-subsidized guest houses, due to the escalating situation on the Lebanese border.

🔴 U.S. Secretary of Defense Austin has put out a press release, saying he has activated the deployment of a THAAD battery as well as additional Patriot battalions to the Middle East region to "increase force protection for U.S. forces".

He also says he has placed an additional number of forces on "prepare to deploy" orders "to increase their readiness and ability to quickly respond as required."

SecDef Austin also says he redirected the movement of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower carrier strike group to the Central Command (CENTOM) area of responsibility.
