The reality of this is that Al Jazeera was quoting Israeli journalists, including Or Heller that was two days ago live on Al Jazeera claiming he was sending a deterring message from the IDF to Hezbullah.

Although there is some possibility it flew by mistake(or not) from Israel to Lebanon, I'm highly doubtful it was placed by the IDF and not just local weather specialists in Lebanon.

Usually IDF spy devices in South Lebanon are camouflaged with a trigger to explode when moved.

However that's not exactly accurate, and it's as mentioned above a weather device probably used to assist the IDF AF over Lebanon and Syria.
