“It was a long and sleepless night, against the backdrop of the major IDF operation in the Strip, and absolute uncertainty regarding the fate of the hostages held there, who were also subject to the heavy bombings," said a statement by the families of Israeli hostages in an address to Netanyahu

"The families are worried about the fate of their loved ones and are waiting for an explanation. Every minute feels like an eternity," they added.

The statement stressed on the need to meet the Israeli war cabinet and voice their concern, especially after Hamas announced the death of 50 hostages in Israeli airstrikes.

🔴 Several Israeli artillery shells fell inside Mays Al-Jabal village on the Lebanese border, damaging two houses and causing a fire.

A fire there would be almost impossible to put out due to the lack of roads and inability to operates planes.

📰 USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier strike group entered the Mediterranean sea today.

It will be the second carrier strike group in the Med, along side USS Gerald R. Ford, who is stationed off the coast of Israel.

🔴 The Israeli army spread leaflets announcing that shelters and refugee centers are no longer safe in Gaza city, urging those there to leave.
