- Grain silos are burning.

- Al Manar is claiming that the initial fire started by an "electric short circuit"
- According to security sources: the confiscated nitrate was confiscated from a ship few months ago and placed there temporary.
- The nitrate should have been dealt with weeks ago but it wasn't, according to officials.
- Red smoke from the nitrate cloud reached Damascus.

- Presidential palace Windows were destroyed, along with every window in a radius up to 20-25 km
- Cyprus offered Lebanon help

- US state department and WH said they are monitoring the situation.

- High council of defense will meet tonight.
- All ambulances from Lebanon are heading towards Beirut.

- Russian embassy was slightly damaged, one employee injuried
- Secretary General of Kataeb just died, after entering a coma an hour ago.
- Tens of Syrians and Palastinians are now at hospitals donating blood.

- Head of customs: " There was tons of confiscated nitrate in that warehouse"
- White house spox: Praying for the safety of the people of Lebanon. The President has been briefed. We continue to monitor the situation closely.
- Several officials from around the world are sending condolences, including Iraq's Sadr.
- Minister of Interior: " We need to know why the customs left nitrate there for a year".
- Parliament speaker Nabih Berri just ordered all members of Amal movement and supporters to head to hospitals and donate blood.
- Hezbullah just opened all of its health sector labs for people to donate blood.
