📃 Israel could have killed Nasrallah in 2006

In an interview for the new season of the Israeli investigative program 'Enemies', Ronen Cohen, a former senior member of Israeli intelligence, implicitly revealed that Israel could have eliminated Hezbullah's SG Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah a few hours after the kidnapping of the two IDF soldiers in 2006.

While a could is worthless after 16 years, it is important to note that it is hesitation that caused the Israeli defeat in 2006 war. This plagued all their decision making during the ground invasion.

In details, the Israeli official meant they could have killed Nasrallah when he appeared publicly infront of Lebanese journalists to answer questions about the war.

📃 The Israeli army chief of staff informed the US Secretary of State that Israel intends to continue its military campaign a few more weeks in Gaza.
