🔴 Second wave of Israeli attacks on Damascus, Syria are ongoing now.

📹 Hezbullah released footage of their attack on Israeli settlements, in response to the Israeli attacks on Lebanese villages.

It involves attacks on:
- Qirayt Shmona
- Avivim
- Metulla
- Manara

🌷 In the last 48 hours, no new Hezbullah fighters were killed by Israel.

This is despite Israeli claims of neutralising various cells today, and more than a dozen attack with jets and drones.

And for the larger extent in the last period, the Israeli army in failing in foiling attacks or killing cells during their work in the field, resorting to attacks on known and unknown houses of families affiliated with Hezbullah, in villages that are fighting the Israeli enemy.

📹 Hezbullah released footage of their attack with a suicide drone against an Israeli army asset in Qirayt Shmona.

📑 About 30 minutes ago, the Israeli army attacked Mays Al-Jabal village with mortars.

Additionally, two Iron Dome missiles exploded over south Lebanon.

📹 Israeli national TV released yesterday a long coverage video of the Israeli army's effort to gather intel and monitor Hezbullah's activities on the border area. (All in Hebrew)

No activity was shown in the 9 minute video!

Notably, the forces are relying on small drones and telescopes to compensate for the destroyed equipment by Hezbullah in earlier months.

Additionally, the soldiers are all operating out of civilian homes and not from military bases.

📑 The USS Bataan and the USS Carter Hall which hosts about 2,000 Marines of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) have joined with the USS Mesa Verde in the Eastern Mediterranean.

According to the US reporters in the Pentagon, the role of these forces is to deter Hezbullah from acting against Israel.

Additionally, they are meant to deploy to shore should the situation escalate against Israel's favor.

📹 In the past few, Israeli airstrikes targeted Al-Naqoura village on southern Lebanon.

📹 An additional Israeli airstrike took place in Mleikh valley deeper in southern Lebanon.

📹 Add to that, a drone strike targeted a car in Aitaroun. No reports about casualties yet.

📃 Several drone alerts are sounding on the Lebanese border.

📹 The Israeli army released footage of their attacks on various locations in south Lebanon, including Hamoul (Naqoura), Aitaroun, and Yaroun.

Other attacks took place but weren't announced by the Israeli occupation army.

📑 Some interesting updates and clarifications:

The civilian injuried in the attack near the church in Irqat, is pro Palestine activist,  Christian Palestinian named Hana Nassar. [Photo]

Nasser would visit weekly the church as a resistance act remind the people of the right to return to the village that was depopulated by Jews in the 1948-1951 era.

He was lightly wounded in the attack, when a tree branch fell on his head.

Now two important observations:
1- Even with a direct ATGM attack [on infantry], this weapon fails to kills unless under specific conditions.

2- Though it was hard to identify him from kilometers away, the room Hezbullah claimed is a new Israeli military point is rather a couple of years old, used as a reception area for church ongoers. It can be seen in this photo from a few years ago.

The IDF might have been using it, which might explain why 10 soldier were just there and all got injured in the attack.

📷 In the infamous photo that gathered the Israeli president and some notable Christian leaders from the Levant, Lebanese Bishop Camille Antoine Aphrem Semaan, Patriarchal Vicar of the Syriac Catholic Church in the Holy Land, was spotted there.

While church leaders have a law in Lebanon that allows them to visit Jerusalem, it is unlikely there is one that permits them to meet and normalize with the heads of the Israeli state.

📷 In previous years, Bishop Cammile would visit Israel and meet the Israeli leadership alongside Bishop Moussa Al-Hajj.

Al-Hajj's name became infamous when he was briefly interrogated on the border, when attempting to smuggle thousands of dollars from Israel into Lebanon, donated by Lebanese who live in Israel after leaving Lebanon.

Al-Hajj was entering Lebanon through Al-Naqoura crossing. Usually Lebanese Christian elders would move between Lebanon and Israel through Jordan.

📑 Throughout the last 100 years, when the Lebanese state was created by Western nations, some of the Christian political leaders took a unique stand in support of Israel, similar to that of Americans and Europeans today.

And while most set aside those old stances, understanding they are lost causes, some stayed adamant in supporting them.

In an interview a few days ago with Lebanese Parliamentary Kameel Chamoun, he stressed that:

- Liberation of Palestine is a delusion
- Israel is here to stay forever

Remarkably, back in 1983 Dany Chamoun met with the Israeli Minister of Foreign affairs Isaac Shameer. Additionally, he played a vital rule in convincing Amin Gemayel to sign the peace deal between Lebanon and Israel back then.

Noting also, Dany begged Shameer to send the Israeli military to help the Lebanese Christians to fight against the Druze in Lebanon during the civil war.

📹 The Israeli army released footage of the drone strike that targeted a car in Aitaroun.

No deaths, only two minor injuries.

📷 Not a lot of details are available on this incident, but seems initially the car was largely unharmed, and the doors are open, meaning whoever was inside left before it burned.
