🏥 🇵🇸 🇮🇱 Israeli forces advance in Rafah; Health Ministry says Gaza hospital system will collapse in hours

🔶️ Israeli forces are advancing on the southern city of Rafah, aiming to destroy what Israeli officials have called the last significant Hamas stronghold in Gaza, at the same time that Israel and the militant group are again clashing in areas in the north.

🔶️ The Gaza Health Ministry said Monday that the health system in the strip will collapse within “a few hours” due to a lack of fuel needed to power generators and ambulances, after similar warnings from aid agencies last week.

🔶️ Nearly 360,000 Palestinians have fled Rafah in the week since Israel ordered its civilians to evacuate, the U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees said Monday. Germany hands over to Lebanon the “ancient head of Eshmun” (stolen in 1981)!

During the civil war, more than 2,000 artifacts from Sidon were moved to the Byblos castle. In 1981, the depot in Byblos was looted and around 600 objects were smuggled out of Lebanon.

Eshmun (𐤀𐤔𐤌𐤍) was the tutelary god of Sidon (from the 7th century BC) and Phoenician god of healing. A 6th-century story by Damascius recounts the myth that Eshmun, a young man from Beirut, was hunting in the woods when Astarte saw him and was stricken by his beauty. She harassed him until he eventually emasculated himself with an axe and died. The grieving goddess revived him and made him into a god in the heavens.

The Eshmun Temple sits on the southern bank of the modern Awali river. Ritual lustral ablutions, pertaining to purification and healing, were performed in its sacred basins. Citrus groves, known as Bustan el-Sheikh, occupy its ancient “sacred forests”.

⋯ The head of Eshmun was given to the ambassador of Lebanon by the chief of the archaeological and artistic department of the police of the State of Bavaria, Christian Klein.

Earlier, Culture Minister Mohammad Mortada had sent a letter asking to recover the stolen antiquity that was being auctioned by Gorney & Mosh in Munich.

🌷 Hezbullah mourns the martyrdom or Hussein Abbass Issa from Mays al-Jabal, who was martyred on the path to Jerusalem and in defence of south Lebanon.

He was killed in the attack on his own home village. He is the uncle of martyr Hussein Ali Issa, who was killed a few months ago.

📷 The Israeli army intensified its artillery attacks on various Lebanese villages today, including Alma, Al-Jebayn, Duhayra, and others.

The absolute majority of these attacks are destroying civilian houses, and no casualties are being caused from these attacks.

🗣️ In response to the Israeli attacks on Lebanese villages and damages civilian homes, Hezbullah attacked several houses in Avivim and Al-Malkiah settlements with several ATGMs, damaging several houses.

📹 And earlier today, the attack on Admit settlement injured a group of Israeli soldiers and contractors hiding in open fields around the settlement.

They are likely part of the attack on the spy balloon crew. At least one was critically injured

There is fear of casualties. During funerals, refugees would come back to their homes to check on them or get things out.

The defence is exerting notable losses and casualties in the ranks of the IDF, who has suffered up to 100 injuries in the past few days.

"Our independence and our sovereignty here are not in doubt, but in order for us to continue to hold the north, the Israeli government must seriously harm Hezbullah...

"... I call on the government to allow the IDF to return fire. We cannot live here when missiles hit our settlements and destroy them.
The time has come after 7 months for the government to invest real resources before we lose the north, soon there will be no farmers left."

🇪🇺 Fraud at the Eurovision by a state larping as European!?

Israel was destined to lose very badly in the Eurovision, especially with the judges of several countries giving them zero points.

But remarkably, the televote gave them a boost to the top 10. How did the popular vote actually pull its weight in European countries that witnessed pro-Palestine movements?

According to Israeli journalist Younatan Touval, ahead of last week's @Eurovision, the Israeli government hired expert(s) to set up voting communities across dozens of countries aimed at pumping up the popular votes for the Israeli song.

The effort was successful as the song won 2nd place in the popular vote.

⚠️ Iraqis tourists to Saudi Arabia forced to stay in Lebanese prison

About 11 Iraqis visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia onboard MEA airlines (Beirut), however were denied entry due to the ongoing Hajj visa policy these few months.

When deported back to Beirut, Iraqi politicians report that they were forced to stay in a Lebanese prison for 4 days. They were not accused of any crime nor anything that would prompt this treatment.

No clarification was issued by the Lebanese security forces yet.

☠️  Hezbullah has killed an Israeli civilian working for the Israeli army and injured five soldiers in an anti-tank guided missile attack against the northern community of Adamit earlier today.

The IDF says one soldier was moderately injured and four others were lightly hurt in the attack.

Another civilian contractor was injured alongside these 5 soldiers.

I saw my house burning before my eyes due to Hezbullah's missiles. The security forces prevented me from approaching and extinguishing the fire due to the seriousness of the situation. Apparently Hezbullah saw Israeli army soldiers next to the house and fired the missiles.

The Metulla settlement has not been evacuated since its founding in this way. Even in the 2006 war there were a number of settlers still inside it. This time we were evacuated in a state of panic because they were afraid of infiltration operations, and today there are missiles. Anti-armor precision missiles targeting us.
