📰 What is the 869th unit which is responsible for directing airstrikes on individuals on the Lebanese border?

The Israeli Combat Intelligence Collection Corps (previously known as Field Intelligence Corps) is the newest of the Israel Defense Forces GOC Army Headquarters' five corps, created in April 2000 and tasked with collecting combat intelligence.

It is responsible for intelligence units from the battalion level and up to the entire force.

The crops includes several subdivisions, with each battalion including foot soldiers, and female observers that control stationary cameras from a control center.

The 869th Field Intelligence Battalion "Shahaf" is assigned to the 91st Division and is tasked with the Lebanese border area.

Throughout the first few months in this battle, Hezbullah worked to successfully blind the unit by attacking and destroying the majority of their spy equipment and cameras on the border area.

This has allowed Hezbullah to launch daily attacks without any losses, and have a certain degree of freedom.

However the unit has adapted to using smaller drones on patrol and deployed new cameras from a far, which are used to fill some gaps.

They attacked with an Almas ATGM and showed drone footage of the before/after.

They happened three times over Nabatieh, on the way north and back towards occupied Palestine.

📹 According to the Israeli army, the attack was targeting Hezbullah individuals that were spotted entering into buildings in those villages.

🌷 Hezbullah mourns the martyrdom of Hussein Muhammad Suwaidan, born in 1990 and from Adshit al-Qusayr, who rose as a martyr on the path to Jerusalem and in defense of south Lebanon.

📷 Earlier today, the Israeli enemy attacked with artillery Kafarshouba, Kfarkila, and Mays al-Jabal villages.

⭕️ On the other hand, Hezbullah carried several attacks in response to the Israeli aggression in various Lebanese villages, especially Hula

- Beit Hilal barracks with a Falaq rocket
- Branit barracks with a Burkan rocket
- A house in Metulla settlement
- A military target in the occupied Syrian Golan, for the first time.

Regarding the latter, the Israeli army acknowledged suicide drones impacted in the area. They failed in interception.

⭕️ Hezbullah's attack in the Golan Heights targted Rawya base, its HQ and the its soldiers' quarters.

The swarm of drones caused 21+ injuries, with at least 3 in serious-to-critical conditions. The base is about 15 km away from Lebanon.

Hezbullah took credit for additional attacks, targeting:
- Beit Hille base workshop with a Falaq
- Samaqa base
- Ruwasat al-Qarn base
- Kherbet Ma'ar

In the coming days, Israel is expected to announce the end of the operation in Rafah and the end of the war in its current configuration

The Prime Minister is currently holding a discussion with senior IDF officials about the end of the operation in Rafah and the dramatic change in the manner of the war

This means: targeted raids and aerial activity will continue to fight Hamas

⭕️ Hezbullah released footage of their attack on an Israeli Merkava tank and Namer APC parked inside an Israeli base using a short range Almas ATGM.

Before attacking they used a drone to scan for targets. The Israeli army obviously didn't acknowledge the event.

Extent of damage is unclear, but the vehicles could be repaired.
