⭕️ Hezbullah released footage of their attack on Shtula hall, where Israeli soldiers would gather.

The attack destroyed the hall and made it burn to the ground.

The attack utilized a hidden artillery system, shown for the first time in south Lebanon. One accurate shell.

Notice how:

1- All the warmongering towards a war in Lebanon has stopped, nothing on par with the past few weeks? We are mid July

2- All the momentum for a ceasefire stopped even though both parties agreed and want to go through phase-1 regardless if they fail to reach phase-2?

The war yet again entered into a phase of uncertainty. For that may God give the resistance patience and the power to withstand, both in Gaza and Lebanon. May it be guided to the right choices and its fighters protected from harm.

I do believe once the war end in Gaza the battle in Lebanon will stop. This will be confirmed once Israel and Hamas enter a ceasefire.

Even if Israel attacks Lebanon for couples of days, I think Hezbullah might not respond to ensure an end of the battle. Eventually Israel will comply too.

But that I worry how it will lead eventually to peace but then a war on Lebanon only next summer, or in a year, or in just a couple of years. The long calm unfortunately ended.

Israel will start that war on Lebanon preemptively or after the slightest meaningless provocation from Lebanon. We all hope we can achieve the end of Israel or its collapse without a war. Unfortunately it's the bitter pill that we have to swallow.

States cannot be up-rooted unless they collapse from inside, or unless disasters happen. There is no magical button but gradual and small steps that lead to small compounded progress over time.

We see the results of that, but still far from that collapsing Jenga.

🥀 An armed clash of unknown reasons yet took place in Hay Madeh in Beirut's southern suburbs. Hezbullah's liaison in the area was critically wounded and another injured when reportedly trying to mediate. Circumstances and details are unclear.
🥀 According to local confirmed details, there was a limited scuffle between members of Amal movement and locals. This could have ended without any issues later on after local mediation.

However, the Amal movement members attempted to provoke those who they had an altercation with earlier, and set a roadblock in the middle of the road. The area usually sees such blocks throughout the night of Ashoura.

Eventually, a fight was triggered again, where Hezbullah's liaison in the area Sameer Qabani was. He was not involved, and neither was Hezbullah. Amal members shot indiscriminately, injuring Qabani critically.

Unfortunately he has succumbed to his wounds and rose as a martyr tonight, as a man who spent his whole life in the resistance, fighting for righteousness in Lebanon and Syria against Israel and the terrorists.

🥀 Hezbullah mourns the honorable Samir Eid Qabani, who was martyred because of the injustice he faced overnight in Beirut.

He was born in 1968 in Beirut's Mazra'a and lives in Hay Madeh.

Hezbullah issued a very brief and dry joint statement with Amal, saying a "personal" clash happened overnight and that the Lebanese army had deployed to arrest the shooters; calling for calm.

🇮🇱/🇱🇧 IDF completes a new drill stimulating war with Lebanon

Hebrew media: This past week, the IDF's 5th Reserve Infantry Brigade carried out a drill simulating fighting in Lebanon, which the military says is part of the Northern Command's efforts to increase readiness amid heightened tensions on the northern border.

The drill included movement in complex terrain, advancing along a "mountainous route," and using firepower and observation capabilities, the IDF says.

A separate drill, carried out by the 769th "Hiram" Regional Brigade's 920th Reserve Battalion, simulated defending northern Israeli towns.

These drills are normal, part of a function military, and signal nothing.

🗣 Hebrew media: The IDF and Shin Bet in a joint statement officially confirm that Rafa’a Salameh, the commander of Hamas's Khan Younis Brigade, was martyred in yesterday's strike in the southern Gaza Strip.

The IDF says Salameh [right×]was "one of the closest associates" of Muhammad Deif [left].

His killing is a "significant blow to the military capabilities of Hamas," the IDF claims.

🗣 The Israeli army Chief of staff gave a statement this evening addressed to the the Israeli public.

He tackled various points, including:
- No will to resign before tenture ends. He doesn't plan to give up his mission.

- The war in Gaza will continue as long as they assess that Hamas is a threat.

- Assassinations will not stop, and they are key ingredient of the Israeli army's modus operandi and the path to success

- The army will abide by any peace or war plans dictated by the political echelon

- He supports a deal to bring the hostages back then continue the war with even greater intensity

The last point is just crazy. Giving Hamas some prisoners back to only proceed and kill them when the war resumes.

He tackled other points, but what's important, there is no will to end this war and only continue it till Gaza is a wasteland and Hamas is a militia of a few.

Unfortunately the Israeli army isn't facing enough losses or burdens that would push it to end the war. They have the impunity, the material abilities, and the world support.

Unfortunately the longer the situation in Gaza lasts, the heavier the toll south Lebanon is being burdened with.

We faced a 22 years of occupation, during which many settled permanently outside Lebanon or in different areas, unlike the limited war of 2006 when people came home and rebuilt. A 34 day burden. Then rebuilding that only finished in 2011-2012.

Today, people have been away from home for 9 months, and the instability is affecting many in those villages and in wider south Lebanon.

That aside, the longer the battle is at this rate, the steady bleeding Hezbullah will face and the higher risks its leadership is in.

The more friends and family to be lost or injured.

People are serving then going home for break, although important for morale and rest, is creating risks. Martyrs and material losses.

Its definitely and indeed a new type of war. Im not pessimistic, im just unable to understand what to expect the future to be.

Patience it is. Lets see how it unfolds. And eternal curse and hate, to that wicked evil nation.
