🇮🇱/🇱🇧 IDF Spokesman in a statement tonight:
- The dead are all children between the ages of 10 and 20. We share in the grief of the families and embrace the Druze community in its difficult time
- An initial investigation shows that a warning was activated, but it was an immediate warning, too short. This is one single rocket.
- There is no change in the directives of the Home Front Command.
- This is a very serious incident and we will act accordingly.
- IDF CoS and head of Mossad are discussing an action plan.

🇱🇧 The Lebanese government issued a statement “condemning all acts of violence and attacks against civilians, calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities on all fronts”.
The statement emphasized that “targeting civilians is a blatant violation of international law and contradicts the principles of humanity”.
Did the clown Lebanese government issue a statement about today's Israeli attacks on two schools in Gaza that killed 100+ civilians?

🇮🇱 As the dead are Druze, and do not carry Israeli citizenship, the Israeli government is in no hurry to act.
The cabinet is expected to meet tomorrow, not tonight, and will only then discuss today's incident.
Hezbullah has likely put all attacks on halt for tonight waiting for the fog to clear.
It's unclear if the IDF will attack today as an initial retaliation, then attack more as continuation based on tomorrow's cabinet results.
A stray Hezbullah rocket or not, dead Druze children is unfortunate. As unfortunate as it would have been dead Jewish children.
However Druze in Israel are mostly the enemy, as are Jews. However attacks on civilians are not a norm, unless it was in retaliation to murder of civilian's.
Whatever happens tonight or tomorrow or anytime later, I reiterate my support for Iran and Hezbullah in their goals that lead to the end of the Jewish state and the crumbling of the Jewish rule. The end of the era of Jewish power and capability.

🇮🇱 Quoting Israeli media, top military and security officials presented Defense Minister Yoav Gallant with "options for action against Hezbollah" in response to the terror group's rocket fire on Majdal Shams that killed 11 civilians and wounded dozens more, his office says.
"Gallant determined the courses of action and instructed the defense establishment accordingly," the Defense Ministry says.
The minister had held an assessment with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, head of the Shin Bet Ronen Bar, head of the Mossad David Barnea, and other officials.
Israel says the rocket was fired from Shebaa.

🇮🇱 Netanyahu in a conversation with the spiritual leader of the Druze community in Israel, Sheikh Muafek Tarif:
"Israel will not put the murderous attack on the agenda. Hezbullah will pay a heavy price for this that it has not paid so far"
Preparing for a response: The Security Cabinet will meet tomorrow at 4:00 PM in Kirya in Tel Aviv.

📄 Final comments as a non-expert:
- Impact is too small for a falaq-1
- Impact isn't consistent with a Ketyusha - Grad
- Impact isn't consistent with an Iron Dome
- Explosion has fuel characters
Something impacted. Israel wants to put on massive show of force. Israel still will not go to war.
Victory for Islam. Victory for Hezbullah. Curse on the Jewish state

🇱🇧 In the 2006 war, Hezbullah's rockets accidentally fell on an Arab town in the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, killing two Palestinians.
At the time, Hezbullah did not deny responsibility, but rather confirmed it and apologized for the unintended mistake.
Sayyed spoke about the matter in a speech he gave during the war and offered his condolences to the families of the martyrs.
I recall that incident to say that the party has the courage to admit the mistake, which lends credibility to its denial today of responsibility for the fall of a missile in the occupied Syrian town of Majdal Shams.

She quotes that several claim a rocket was launched from the Israeli-controlled Jabal al-Sheikh towards the village.
She also quotes an Israeli member of the David star ambulance, saying he doesn't believe it's a rocket from Lebanon.
