He observed their preparations regarding defense and the possibility of offensive actions in all combat sectors.

"Our enemies are carefully considering their steps thanks to the abilities you have demonstrated in the last year. However, we must prepare for all possibilities,  including a quick transition to the offense."

📰 The chief of the IDF's Northern Command said the military's offensive plans are ready, in a meeting with northern Israel's local council mayors and leaders yesterday.

"I want you to know that our offensive plans going forward are ready and we are prepared for this, in all aspects, from me to the last of the soldiers. (...) We attacked and destroyed a lot in the last ten months but we still have work to do, we are determined and committed," said Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin.

The meeting focused on "security-strategic issues and joint assessments in the region, as part of the response to threats in the Middle East."

🇱🇧/🇮🇱 The IDF asked Netanyahu to approve a pre-emptive war on Hezbullah

Senior IDF officials told the Minister of Defense and the Prime Minister - not to wait for an attack from Hezbullah and launch another proactive Israeli attack.

According to Israeli media, and only mentioning what the censor allowed, IDF senior officials have put forward to the political echelon in recent days a proposal to launch another attack against Hezbullah in Lebanon, even before the response from Lebanon arrives.

According to senior IDF officials: "We need to undermine the enemy's feeling that we are waiting for his mouth to come out."

It was also said on their part: "the chances of escalation on the northern front are also increasing - it would be right to be the ones who lead this move."

The proposal was presented yesterday in a number of discussions that took place with senior political leaders, it was considered and tested, but for now it has not been accepted by the political level
