🇵🇸/🇮🇱 According to the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, Israel has bombed 16 shelter schools in the Gaza Strip since the start of August, 15 of them in northern Gaza.

These attacks resulted in the deaths of at least 217 displaced Palestinians and the injury of hundreds.

Euro-Med reports that this comes as part of Israel's dangerous escalation in systematically targeting schools housing displaced Palestinians without prior warning.

Yesterday night, Israel bombed the Halima al-Saadia school in northern Gaza's Jabalia, killing at least 4 displaced Palestinians.

This came hours after targeting the Amr Ibn al-Aas school in Gaza City, killing at least four others – one of them a child.

💸 The Lebanese central bank, headed by its deputy, issued a decree confirming they will continue to stabilise the USD exchange rate at 89,600 LBP until the end of the year.

The currency stability helped the economy and businesses, however won't this create the same risk that led to Lebanon's shock over stabilizing the currency at lower than real worth rates in the past decades?

🇮🇱/🇱🇧 Israel's Security establishment: No for war with Hezbullah!

Israel's deputy army chief of staff, Baram, who was the commander of the Northern brigade and understands Hezbullah well, informed Netanyahu that it's not in their favor to launch a wide scale war with Hezbullah.

Baram added that its best to fully finish the war in Gaza, rest, prepare and train, then act against Hezbullah in whatever manner the political echelon wants.

Baram added that Netanyahu shouldn't expect Hezbullah to stop firing, as long as the war in Gaza continues. The above is the opinion of Halevi, the chief of staff, and of Gallant, the minister of defence.

For Israel, the current battle is low risk high reward. The results are satisfactory, so are the losses and damages.
