🇱🇧 LBC reporter casually saying on live TV that they obeyed what the IDF spokesman said about the building near Al-Sahil hospital and they headed to that area to inspect it
They found large steel doors, but some youth didn't allow them to enter and inspect it.
Screw this country and its clown show. How is this acceptable and normal!? How does media act and do like this?

🥀 The IDF issued a statement after receiving confirmation from Lebanon that Hezbullah's Sayyed Hashem Safieddine was murdered in the Israeli airstrike on Beirut earlier this month.
Safieddine, was head of Hezbullah's executive council, and was presumed to be the successor of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah following his assassination.
The IDF adds that he was murdered alongside the head of Hezbullah's intelligence division, Hussein Ali Hazimeh
Although I found a tweet from April saying Hazimeh was martyred. odd.

‼️ The IDF announce they will start attacking all businesses they claim are affiliated with Hezbullah or supportive of Hezbullah in Lebanon
🇮🇱l🇱🇧 IDF's attack on Qard al-Hassan bank, a war crime: Amnesty
The Israeli military’s targeting of branches of Qard al-Hassan, a non-profit financial association affiliated with Hezbullah, with over 30 branches across Lebanon, likely violates international humanitarian law and must be investigated as a war crime, Amnesty International said today.
Under the laws of war, branches of financial institutions are civilian objects unless they are being used for military purposes. Therefore, these attacks likely constitute a direct attack on civilian objects.
According to customary international humanitarian law, an object must meet two criteria to be classified as a military objective. First, it must effectively contribute to military action, based on its location, nature, purpose or use. Second, destroying the object must provide a definite military advantage in the circumstances ruling at the time.

International humanitarian law prohibits direct attacks against “civilian objects,” such as homes and apartments, businesses and shops, unless these buildings are being used for military purposes. Having an association with Hezbollah is not sufficient to classify a civilian building or the civilians inside it as military objectives.

🇮🇱l🇱🇧 The rules of war are clear, Israel is violating not just the laws but the norms of humanity
The Israeli propaganda machine is working to portray its aggression against Lebanon as a conflict between Israel and Hezbullah, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is telling us openly that his problem is not with the Lebanese people but with Hezbullah.
This is the same narrative that the Israelis are adopting with the Palestinians in Gaza.
What they did in Gaza, they are now doing in Lebanon, to make every member, supporter or relative of Hezbullah a legitimate target for Israeli aggression.
We have witnessed this rhetoric accompanying the massacres that Israel has recently committed in Lebanon, whether by targeting ambulances or firefighting teams and justifying it with the pretext of the close connection of these civilians to Hezbullah...
...all the way to the assassination or attempted assassination of political figures and the threats to financial, media and religious figures

This discourse and this narrative have a clear political goal that lies in separating any act of resistance from its popular incubator.
It involves shifting and reversing responsibility, as it blames the victim for not accepting submission and obedience to the orders and desires of the aggressor instead of condemning the latter.
More importantly, this discourse constitutes a violation of civilians and turns them into “legitimate military” targets, which opens the door to intimidation and destruction without any justification.
Given the seriousness of this justificatory discourse, it has become necessary to recall the axioms of international law, as this discourse not only conflicts with the rules of international humanitarian law that regulate armed conflicts, but also completely contradicts its spirit and purpose.

First of all, civilians are not targets no matter what and no matter who they are politically affiliated with
Lebanese who are openly with Hezbullah are not targets. Lebanese who day and night support Hezbullah are not targets.
This is what the law says, this is what norms say, this is what any decent religion says
