- The decision taken by the leadership of the Israeli enemy army to move to the second phase of the "ground maneuver" in southern Lebanon will only lead to disappointment, and its inevitable results will be more losses and failures; and our fighters are waiting.
- The resistance has taken, within its defensive plans, all measures that enable it to fight a long battle to prevent the enemy from achieving its goals in defense of the freedom and sovereignty of its country, and the dignity and honor of its proud people.
- We confirm that the front in all axes and sectors possesses the necessary equipment and various military specialties to fight such a battle.
- Despite the claims made by the enemy about controlling the border villages, our fighters were able during the past few days to carry out many rocket attacks from the Lebanese-Palestinian border.

At the start of the war, the IDF reported that more than 100% of reservists called up for duty had shown up.
In recent weeks, the turnout rate in the reservist units currently fighting in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip has varied between 75% and 85%, according to defense sources.
The decline has been attributed by senior officers to burnout among reservists after fighting for over a year of war, along with them being away from their families for extended periods, losing jobs, or missing academic studies.
It has also been attributed to the failure of the country to draft masses of the ultra-Orthodox community, while the national religious and secular communities serve at high rates.
