🇮🇱l🇱🇧 The details of the battle of the 51st Battalion in South Lebanon based on Israeli media
1. The Golani Brigade and the 188th Brigade, under Division 36, have been operating in recent days on the outskirts of the second line of villages in the western sector in southern Lebanon, in an attack on new areas where the IDF has not maneuvered on the ground until now.
This is a maneuver limited in scope, the purpose of which is to seize controlled territories and launchers that target the settlements in the north.
From these areas, among others, firing has been carried out on the northern settlements in recent weeks.
2. Battalion 51 this morning began a battalion attack on a number of targets, and as part of it raided a number of buildings. In one of the buildings - the force encountered Hezbullah at close range, and a prolonged battle took place.
3. The IDF estimates that these are 4 Hezullah fighters who waited for the force inside the building and conducted the fighting with them.
At the same time as the battle inside the building - others from nearby buildings fired from an anti-tank at the same building where the IDF was fighting
4. The battle lasted about 3 hours (from 10:00 this morning until about 1:00 p.m.), with a complex and prolonged evacuation of the injured and a long time required to consolidate the situation on the incident.
5. A preliminary investigation shows that there was fire on the building into which the fighters entered.
The IDF suspects that there is an underground shaft inside the building, under whose protection Hezbullah his
This is the style of fighting, they never enter a building before attacking it with grenades, anti tank weapons, and bullets. They enter things cleared before.

🇱🇧l🇺🇸 A top US intelligence official said Tuesday that Hezbullah’s capabilities had been significantly degraded, but their ground forces along the border with Israel remain largely intact.
“It still remains down, but far from out,” said Brett Holmgren, the acting Director of the National Counterterrorism Center.
“Our assessment is that the Israeli military actions have significantly degraded Hezbullah’s military capabilities,” Holmgren said during a webinar with the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
But he warned that the group had built up a massive arsenal of rockets, missiles and other capabilities before the latest war with Israel.
“The leadership losses have had an impact on their ability to organize and to strategically put together a way forward. But the ground forces in the south remain somewhat intact,” Holmgren said on Tuesday.
As for Hezbullah’s wing responsible for attacks and operations outside of Lebanon, Holmgren warned that these capabilities “have largely been untouched.”
He specified the Islamic Jihad Organization (IJO) and other external components of Hezbullah as having suffered “little impact thus far.”

They called Hezbullah's weapons Iranian, and somehow mentioned the invisible Syrian occupation.

an experienced Israeli fighter pilot and a previous paratrooper committed suicide this week, facing PTSD from all the men, women, and children he killed in airstrikes on civilian buildings and gathering in Gaza.
🇮🇱 3 weeks and the mother of the Israeli pilot who committed suicide is still begging the Israeli army to bury him in the military cemetery. The army refused. (Alleged photo of him)
A week or so again, there was another suicide in Gaza where an Israeli soldier killed himself with a grenade. A similar incident happened a few months ago.
Neither will classified as military deaths nor added to the death tally of the war, even though they committed suicide in Gaza.

🇱🇧l🇮🇱 The Lebanese that was killed in Nahariyya is Simone Najem.
He was a former soldier in the mercenary militia South Lebanon Army, which supported the Israeli occupation of south Lebanon and was part of torturing prisoners, until the withdrawal in 2000 where he escaped to Israel

🇱🇧 Here is some more tea
Simome happens to have been injured in a resistance attack in 1995 during the occupation era before 2000, but survived.
But it gets more interesting. Just two days before the occupation ended through the grand liberation, he killed a fellow soldier named Pascal Labakeh.
Pascal sexually assaulted Simone's wife. After killing Pascal, he escaped to Israel with his wife and kids, but sentenced to 23 years in prison.
So in 2023 he left, and worked at a cafe. He was killed in 2024 by a rocket fired by Hezullah and which impacted Nahariyya.

🇮🇱l🇱🇧 On the other hand, the Israeli terrorist army continues to leak to the media through the likes of Amit Seagull (it's Segal) the demolition of houses in Mays al-Jabal.
📸 The Israeli demolitions in Mays al-Jabal can be seen clearly in this before and after photo of the town.
The demolitions focused almost exclusively in the outskirts and the areas facing the border area.
It is unclear if the IDF operated beyond this area, into the town's center and eastern/northern neighborhoods.

📸 You'd ask why did they demolished almost exclusively these houses?
The answer is geography. No military targets, just war crimes.
The goal was to demolish every single civilian house that sits at the highest area in the town, at a height greater than the sea level and which can be visible from Israel.
They want to project a picture of victory to Israelis living in the north, who can no longer see houses. And at the same time, demolish any house, whose inhabitants can see Israel. A tactical military goal.
