Glad I could visit it a couple of years ago. Let's see what the future unfolds and the new state in Syria will abstain from sectarian violence and allow Lebanese, Iraqis, Iranians and others the freedom to visit

🇸🇾 The Syrian army has also been ordered to withdraw from Latakia mountains towards the city.

There are high level orders to withdraw without a fight.

There will be no fight even for Damascus. It's too late, and this will avoid unnecessary bloodshed.

They also withdrew from Shuknah area in eastern Homs. Basically withdrew from everywhere.

— Meanwhile it, Russian channels seem more pissed about SAA surrendering Palmyra without a fight than actually the possibility of loss of the only port in Mediterranean that Russia has
Because:

1- Everyone hated to fight in the desert

2- The gov lost Palmyra several times already and both Russians and Hezbullah bled to save it twice. Wagner, Russian regulars, Ridwan, the reserves, IRGC, Fatimyoun, everyone.

Evidently everyone is pissed, but look, what's destined to fall will fall. You cannot help a patient who lost the will to live. It's nature.

What annoys me is one thing, is the upcoming attempts to rewrite history and ridicule the efforts of Syria's allies to fight in its support on one hand - and the just and righteousness in fighting against the rebels and terrorists in the early years of the war.

Hezbullah didn't only fight to save an ally, they fought to protect Lebanon and the resistance. They were successful in their part.

No matter how the enemy has evolved, it was once an evil and fighting it was important and correct.

Lolol...Al-Manar casually calling Jewlani as "politically lenient".

Come on, wait till he's in Damascus. Should have called him politically hypocrite, to be more accurate.

🇱🇧l🇮🇱l🇸🇾 An Israeli airstrike targeted tonight the Lebanese Syrian border.

Media claim it targeted a Hezbullah convoy, however there is no indication of that yet.

🇸🇾 Syrian soldiers were given the orders not to fight everywhere, especially in Damascus. They were also told not to set-up any defenses in the capital or stop any convoy.

If president Bachar is still the one giving orders, he likely wanted this to end without any bloodshed or destruction. I hope he can safely leave Syria.

🇮🇷 Jalili: "Which wrong analysis made the enemy more arrogant after the martyrdom of Haniyeh?!"

"A false analysis with a seemingly correct literature like "war trap" and "de-escalation" can be more traumatic than several military operations; Did it not happen?!"

"After the martyrdom of Martyr Haniyeh, trusting the promises of the enemy led to the martyrdom of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah"

Something someone wrote and I support, but not as sharp as the words he used. It's not in the defeatist sense either but rather in terms of ability.

The ideology will stay, the righteousness will stay, the goals will stay, and nothing will change in this regards. It's simply matter of hardships, between Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.

Maybe it'll be a good few years or absorbing this wave of events, to rise again. A'amel never dies, and the Lebanese from A'mel will always shine.

I quote below:

"Tonight, the end of the "axis" of confrontation against America and Israel can be confirmed.

Today, we can speak, at best, about the return of the Lebanese resistance, Hezbullah", as a local player whose goal is to preserve the group and defend its existence.

In 1982, the goal was Islam, revolution, supporting the oppressed, and liberation.

Today, the goal is to preserve existence. Iran is now alone as well."
