🇱🇧l🇮🇱 Defense Minister Israel Katz says that if Hezbullah does not withdraw from Southern Lebanon "there will be no agreement,"
"Israel is interested in the implementation of the agreement in Lebanon and will continue to enforce it fully and without compromise to ensure the safe return of the residents of the north to their homes," Katz says during a visit to an IDF base in northern Israel where the military established a display of captured Hezbollah weapons.
"But the first condition for the implementation of the agreement is the complete withdrawal of the Hezbollah terror organization beyond the Litani River, the dismantling of all weapons and the [removal] of the terror infrastructure in the area by the Lebanese army, something that hasn't happened yet," he says.
"If this condition is not met, there will be no agreement, and Israel will be forced to act independently to ensure the safe return of the residents of the north to their homes," Katz adds.

🇱🇧l🇮🇱 Katz isn't a man you'd give much weight to his words however there is clear consensus in Israel that:
"They aren't bound by time, but by operational conditions". This was echoed in an interview with the head of the Galilee division too.
The thing is, the Israeli army is lying about the Lebanese army's lack of efforts when the Leb army is supposed to have already deployed in many Lebanese border towns that the IDF itself is refusing to withdraw from.
The IDF still "hasn't finished work there", which is both a war crime and a violation of the ceasefire.
The IDF isn't working in good faith, and 3 months into the border town between a ceasefire and a war and they still think they have a something to do there.
About 20-30% of the Israeli northernors are already back home. Rest not yet
Katz the clown mentioned only a withdrawal south of Litani by Hezbullah, which is interesting because it plays into Hezbullah's rhetoric of disarming south of it only.
However Hezbullah is already disarmed ofc :)
We can just tell the IDF they destroyed everywhere and nothing is left. Let's play their game. They said they destroyed 70-80% of Hezbullah.
If we distribute this 20% between Beqaa, Beirut, noth of litani, and south of it.. there is nothing left

Just so I can have a clear conscious that I spoke about this at one point in the channel, this post was created.
The new Syrian administration is doing exactly what they claimed for decades the previous Al-Assad administration have done and they have done so much more viciously and criminally than what many have claimed.
What they are doing, is something that had Al-Assad's administration done it would have been burdened with so much heat.
1- Kidnapping any (non-sunni) soldier who was once part of the Syrian army even if they are not part of any crime or mistake. This includes arrests of those who even were seen next to dead bodies of terrorists.
2- Kidnapping and humiliating people based on a secretion basis, Shia, Alawite, and everyone. They are purging and punishing. They are beating people with passion.
3- They are treating their dead fighters during the war as innocents, and anyone who was ever suspected of fighting them as a target.
They have prepared lists, are kidnapping people and placing them into cramped prisons, they are beating people publicly and secretary, they are executing people etc etc. not one court or judge involvement
They are what they claimed to be fighting.
There are a lot more details and a lot of evidence of extremely ill practices. They are not only acting criminally, they are acting like a danger and are motivated sectarianally and taunting the Shia before the Alawite that they are Kuffar and their throats are near a knife.
Their media and activists are documenting barely a few of these crimes, and the others are begging them to stay hush. Do your thing in secret.
Syria is lost, and to me its ironic that they kept it cozy with the Russians who they accused for a decade of being the ones behind the air force massacres. But against Hezbullah and Iran, يا غيرة الدين
Its also funny everyone finally saw who the alawites are, saw how poor and marginalized they are and not lords or elders in Syria. They suffered like everyone else. Even worse.
Everyone just now, evidently late, noticed how poor everyone is and how poor everything looks in Syria, especially in the Assad administration areas.
Finally, everyone finally knew that the U.S. sanctions affected the ordinary syrians and not the war lords. So why beg the sanctions to be lifted now? When you spent years saying they are against Assad.
Don't judge the new administration on bullshit things, like fixing the religious books or avoiding a handshake. Nothing is wrong with that, because since when does a Muslim shake the hand of a non-Mahram woman? Judge by what is a mistake.
So yeah, my stance on Syria after some thought? I hope it crumbles from within to a worse state and be shattered. Unless they change, if they do...

Let's be clear on something:
1- Not all Israeli threats are empty. Treating them as so blinded us from knowing when they actually meant it and exposed some of their plans and knowledge
And vise versa
2- No, Israel didn't officially say they are going to stay beyond the 60 days. The Jews said they "aren't bound by time" but by "operational needs". Operation needs they can be a achieved in one day or one century. It's a mere political assessment in reality
They have neither received orders to stay longer nor have they claimed so. They are just saying what is expected from a position of power that imply they can dedicate.
3- The Israelis announced the military assessment is prime for the settlers to go home. This is major and was echoed by the finance minister smotrich who is responsible for compensation and rebuilding and funds. He is a war hawk.
This is the first positive sign for Lebanon. A credible one.
Saying they can return starting 1-March, do you think the Israelis are willing to start a war in February? Conflicts shouldn't last forever, even the rabid Jewish war machine knows.
What they intended to achieve, in short terms, they did. They know the level of damage they caused. Any new conflict is futile for now. The goals here are different from the goals in Gaza. The pressure on them here is different than in Gaza. There it's vs a territory. Here its versus a state.
4- Do not expect Hezbullah to sabotage peace now, and they will be patient even if those 60 days pass with limited Israeli presence. Who cares about a few extra days when the grander goal is much longer peace. Wait it out, it'll work out.
(Btw some people made wrong comments here about Hezbullah and the war conduct. I'll elaborate on this later, no "will" today)

We have reached this point in max tolerance."

🇱🇧 Gaegae and his party genuinely had hopes that this war would crush Hezbullah and he can finally have enough momentum in Lebanon to become president.
However, not even Saudi Arabia and the U.S.A gace him enough motivation.
The remarks by Safa sparked a lot of anger among the Lebanese Forces party and didn't spare any attack.
They went nuts over Safa calling Gaegae "a man with a destructive project", while all he did was not only encourage the Israeli war and openly celebrate it and its results but was part of the sedition and inciting again spilling Shia blood in Lebanon. This is well documented and can't be denied.
Just today, Charles Jabbour his said of Media relations called Lebanese Shia, Iranian occupying settlers! evidence: https://x.com/charlesjabbour/status/1875852415934796171
And Veto, is part of what is a healthy political life. Anyone can veto anyone, else why does politics and parties exist.
Gaegae himself vetoed any "resistance-allied' candidate. So why the hypocrisy? Evidence: https://x.com/DrSamirGeagea/status/1650220092775448577

"They are not like us"
"They have their Lebanon and we have ours"
"The justice of heaven [Israeli assassination] is very strong"
"Of course we want [Israel] to end Hezbullah"
Some of many things the Lebanese Forces party said during the historic and devastating war on the Lebanese Shia.
The issue is, they talk so then get angry when Hezbullah doesn't see them as equals or partners. It highlights their hypocrisy and their delusion.
