And so today, he also speaks that the Lebanese Government doesn't have to be accepted by the Shia and that the Lebanese charter is about religious not sects.

As in Christians and Muslim, not Maronite, Shia, Sunni, orthodox, etc. This is a big lie.

Geagea said:
"There is no objection to the Shiites not agreeing to the government, as it remains complete in its specifications."

Yet the hypocrite in another tweet says" We will not accept a government without the Shia" here: https://x.com/DrSamirGeagea/status/1878862708482678963

This is as I explained and discussed yesterday, what Mark Dauo said. They will attempt to disregard the parties which represent the Shia and go with no-bodies born Shia.

🇱🇧 Let's be clear, now, everyone that was happy about the Israeli war on Hezbullah hoping it is defeated and nullified is hoping they can attack it and defeat internally.

The goal is clear. Strip Hezbullah from its popular support.

Lebanese Forces MP, Razie Al-Hajj:
“It is our responsibility to liberate the Shiite sect from the hands of Hezbullah. They are our people and Lebanese like us.”

🇱🇧 What about Hezbullah and Amal? They feel betrayed by everyone.

While Hezbullah's MP Raad, a father of a martyr in this war, clearly expressed the parties are trying to exclude and isolate them...

... Parliament Speaker Berri was mad and refused to comment after consultations with the president.

Mohammed Alloush:
"The agreement was overturned, and therefore all the guarantees that the Hezbullah/Amal received could be nullified"

That's all aside, I want to highlight something and I genuinely hope it is clear to everyone.

The hypocrisy of how everyone is calling it a new era, yet those candidates are supported by every single civil war warlord or political party that came after the civil war and participated in every single government before.

It was not a new opposition, it is literally everyone. From Kataeb, to Gaegae, to Aoun, to Joumblat.

It's everyone vs Hezbullah and always what it was politically...vs Hezbullah.

Historically only 6 Lebanese governments didn't have Shia representation in them. They were in:
- 1951
- 1952
- 1958
- 1968

And let's be clear. If the Shia parliamentarians who were voted by the people don't support this government, all 26 of them. This means Shia aren't represented if a new gov is formed without them.

Dislike this? Make a new census in Lebanon and drop the sectarian distribution and let everyone take his real popular size and end this BS.

🇱🇧 This morning, President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, met with the Acting Director General of General Security, Major General Elias Al-Bissari

Al-Bissari was candidate for presidency, filling currently as the head of General Security, a position reserved to Shia

📸 Today the president also met in the tripate meeting Nabih Berri, the parliament speaker, the Prime Minister designate Nawaf Salam

🇱🇧 So far, both Nawaf and Aoun extended a hand to Amal and Hezbullah and in several remarks today hoped to comfort them

Both Amal and Hezbullahw were also accepting, as they mentioned they will wait and see action and won't judge or react.

Aoun said that:

- If a component [sect or party] is broken, Lebanon as a whole will be broken.

- The Lebanese state and people are responsible for bearing the burden of the conflict with Israel

- We must send positive messages abroad that Lebanon is capable of governing itself, implementing reconstruction transparently, and building a state that we all call for

- "Being a son of the South, I refused to accept congratulations out of respect for the souls of the martyrs who fell as a result of the Israeli aggression, and I believe in what Imam Musa al-Sadr said that Lebanon "cannot be smiling while its South is in pain or crying"

🇱🇧 Additionally today, PM-designate Nawaf Salam gave a short speech that included:

- I thank everyone for the trust they have given me in these difficult circumstances to serve Lebanon.

- It is time to start a new chapter rooted in justice, security and opportunity.

- The most prominent challenge we face today is confronting the consequences of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon.

Reconstruction is not just a promise, but a commitment.

- The government I will form will have to develop an integrated program to build a modern and productive economy that provides job opportunities for the rising generations.

- The basis of political reforms is to work simultaneously to implement the Taif Agreement and fill its gaps.

This can only be achieved through extensive administrative decentralization.

- We will work with to do justice to the victims of the Beirut Port and their families.

- I do not exclude or isolate others, but rather one a person people of unity and national partnership, and the hands are extended for rescue, reform and reconstruction.

🇱🇧 Today a delegation from the Lebanon Shia council met with Aoun, head by Sheikh al-Khatib.
"We are confident and certain that President Joseph Aoun has the specifications and will to implement the oath speech and true national unity to protect Lebanon, its sovereignty and liberate it from the Israeli enemy."

📍How did the Lebanese independent and Nationalist MPs react to being asked about the Israeli drones over Beirut?

Mark Daou on the Israeli drones flying on the night of the presidential election:
They are filming the Lebanese people happy, with smiling faces.

He's talking about the same drones that killed and contributes in the murder of thousands of Lebanese Shia a mere month ago!

How is this acceptable? How can they joke about an armed drone over the capital by an enemy army like this!?

🇱🇧 And after joking about the drones that killed and maimed thousands of Lebanese Shia, Mark would say in TV:

🇱🇧 To make the situation worse, the head of communication of the Lebanese Forces party openly said that he is thankful Hezbullah's support for didn't stop before the October war, else Hezbullah's loses would have been less!

During this war 4,000 Lebanese were killed and 20,000 injured. During this war the Lebanese border villages were destroyed.

He's openly celebrating the results of the Israeli war. This is who they are, yet they wants us to trust them?

🇱🇧 Similarly, the mutt, Jordanian Palestinian but made Lebanese Wadah Sadeq openly attacked Hezbullah and Amal and stated they do not represent Lebanese Shia.

In light of the elections, he either is trying to imply he rejects the evidence of the elections or Shia are sheep who don't know how or what to vote for.
