أصدر حزب الله البيان التالي:
إنّه يوم مجيد من أيام الله، ومشهد مهيب من مشاهد العز والكرامة التي يخطّها شعب المقاومة العظيم، الذي أثبت مرة أخرى أنّه الشعب المتجذّر في أرضه، المتشبث بكل حبة تراب فيه، الحارس الأمين لسيادة الوطن، والذي لا ينحني أمام أي تهديد أو عدوان.
منذ عام 2000 وحتى اليوم، المشهد يتكرّر، حيث يثبت شعبنا أنّه القائد الحقيقي لمسار الانتصار، بمقاومته البطولية يُجدّد دحر العدو، مؤكدّا أن لا مكان لمحتل في هذه الأرض المباركة، التي رويت كل حبة تراب فيها بدماء الشهداء.
إنّ مشهد العائدين إلى قراهم، حاملين صور الشهداء ورايات المقاومة يُجسّد أسمى معاني الثبات والصمود والانتصار، ويؤكد أنّ هذا الشعب بإرادته التي لا تُقهر وثباته الذي لا يلين يُشكّل السلاح الأقوى للمقاومة، تلك القوة التي لطالما وصفها شهيدنا وعزيزنا، سيد شهداء الأمة، سماحة السيد حسن نصرالله (رضوان الله عليه) بأنّها "نقطة القوة التي لا يستطيع أن يهزمها أحد". لقد أثبت شعب المقاومة أنه وفِيّ لدمائه الزكية، وأنه مهما بلغ جبروت الغزاة، فإنهم عاجزون عن الصمود أمام هذا الطوفان الشعبي المبارك الذي رسم بخطواته واتجاهه طريقًا واحدًا، تحرير الأرض ودحر المحتل نهائيًا.
إنّنا في حزب الله، إذ ننحني إجلالًا أمام عظمة شعب المقاومة، نؤكد أنّ معادلة الجيش والشعب والمقاومة التي تحمي لبنان من غدر الأعداء ليست حبرًا على ورق، بل واقع يعيشه اللبنانيون يوميًا، ويجسدونه بصمودهم وتضحياتهم.
إننا ندعو جميع اللبنانيين إلى الوقوف صفًا واحدًا مع أهلهم في الجنوب، لنجدّد معًا معاني التضامن الوطني ولنبني سيادة حقيقية عنوانها التحرير والانتصار. ونشدّد على أنّ المجتمع الدولي، وعلى رأسه الدول الراعية للاتفاق، مطالب اليوم بتحمل مسؤولياته أمام انتهاكات العدو الإسرائيلي وجرائمه وإلزامه بالانسحاب الكامل من أراضينا.
