It's genuinely disturbing how pathetic when some Lebanese call themselves majority (and they are indeed quite a large portion of Lebanon) and openly claim that what is being said about thanks to Israel is something many agree on...
... because they are this much fed up about Hezbullah dominance in Lebanon and control they had over their lives and politics and everything.
Guys, do we f live in the same Lebanon? Is it the same country we are talking about? What type of brain rot is this?
Look, they see it and describe it so, but it was never saw. What they were talking about the simply the existence of Hezbullah and it having a representation in Lebanon.
There being a party that doesn't agree to what they say. But what type of control are they talking about, what type of nonsense and delusions are they spitting.
Pathetic. I swear this needs to be studied.

Like guys, if I want to give you an example of this brain rot, remember Tayouneh ambush.
The allegedly non-armed peaceful Lebanese Forces party killed 7 Shia, including one women and several civilians.
And then clashed with fighters, and they didn't suffer a single causality. Yet Hezbullah as at fault, Hezbullah was bad, and Hezbullah was behind this.
Do you get the pattern? Do you understand how pathetic this is?

🚁 Yoav Gallant admits to killing civilians with Hannibal Directive:
— Amit Segal: "Was the order given to use Hannibal Directive?
— Gallant: "Tactically in some places, i think it was."
⬛️ In this interview with Channel 12 (Amit Segal) and Yedioth Ahronoth (Yonit Levi) aired on Thursday, Gallant also regretted that the ceasefire proposal on the table in April did not materialize in July: "In practice, we could have gotten the same deal with more hostages, and at a lower price, because 110 terrorists serving life sentences were not in discussions then."
⬛️ Regarding resigned National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, Gallant said that his repeated raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque in 2023 had been "like detonating the situation", one of the factors leading to the war.
⬛️ He also expressed his view that it is impossible to establish Jewish settlements in Gaza because establishing military rule is almost impossible there.
Gallant was the defense minister until he was sacked by Netanyahu on Nov 5, 2024.

🔴 Gallant: Not triggering pager attacks on Oct 11, 2023, is "Israel's biggest security miss ever"; Biden opposed it at the time.
⬛️ "Not acting on Oct. 11, 2023 is the greatest security miss in the entire history of the State of Israel. And not just in this war."
Gallant claims it was possible to kill 12,000 Hezbullah members and destroy 90% of its rockets:
⬛️ Netanyahu opposed the plan, told Gallant to talk to Biden's natsec adviser Jake Sullivan. When Gallant insisted, he learned that Biden had refused it:
⬛️ On Jan. 19, 2024, Minister Gadi Eisenkot mentioned Israel's intent to strike Hezbollah on Oct. 11, 2023, without giving details.
⬛️ Israel eventually launched its terrorist attacks on September 17-18, killing only 40+ Lebanese, including a child, and wounding 2,900. Far more people were hurt by the pagers than by the more combat-oriented walkie-talkies. The reason for this, Gallant said, was because:

Gallant claims it was possible to kill 12,000 Hezbullah members and destroy 90% of its rockets:
"First, we could have attacked from the sky and taken out [[censored]] heads of Hezbollah, and also Iranians, Nasrallah, all the rest. The entire top echelon.
Immediately after that, we could have [attacked] the entire missile and rocket system, the way we did almost a year later, in September, and we would have gotten not just to 70 or 80 percent of them, but 90% or more, because a great portion of them were concentrated in storehouses. They had not yet been dispersed in the field.
Third, […] when you start maneuvering, 15,000 terrorists put on a vest. On this vest are booby-trapped walkie-talkies, like pagers. By activating them, 15,000, or 12,000 would've been killed in this explosion. The result would've been the physical elimination of Hezbollah in significant parts of it: the leadership, the missiles, and the operatives.
From that moment on, you're in a different situation. Why? Because you can shorten the war. You can take divisions from the north, copy them to the south, operate in Khan Younis and Rafah in parallel with Gaza City. Moreover, you don't need to evacuate the towns in the north. Next, Hamas loses all its strategic support, both physical and moral."
⬛️ Netanyahu opposed the plan, told Gallant to talk to Biden's natsec adviser Jake Sullivan. When Gallant insisted, he learned that Biden had refused it:
"I sent representatives again and again, because I tried to reach the prime minister by phone and there was no answer. […] I saw that coalition negotiations were actually reached to get Gantz and Eisenkot into the government, and Gideon Saar. From that moment, they became part of the matter, they were treated as members of the cabinet. […] When I go down to update them, it is already clear that there is opposition from the prime minister, Gantz and Eizenkot. And I understand that the President of the United States has been mobilized in the matter.
[...] During the discussion, I instruct the Chief of Staff [CoS] to take off the planes, because if we don't, even if the cabinet decides in the affirmative, the opportunity may slip away. Gantz, Eisenkot, Dermer, Netanyahu - all vote against it. [But] the Minister of Defense, the CoS, the heads of the Shin Bet and Mossad, the Deputy CoS, the Northern Command Colonel, the head of Military Intelligence, the Air Force Commander - all support. In the end, this matter is postponed and the cabinet votes against the decision."

"We suspected that someone in Hezbollah had discovered the pager story. We found whom and eliminated him. But then a process of in-depth testing of the devices began. Left with no choice, we needed to act, because the operation was important. It had dramatic value. We triggered the pagers, an operation that had been prepared for a whole decade, and its result was very impressive: over 2,000 wounded for Hezbollah, a finger, an eye, a thigh.
But the main operation of the walkie-talkies, which are many times more numerous in quantity and many times more in explosives, was launched a day later [as a result of fear that they would be discovered]... when the vast majority was in the warehouses. That's also where they exploded. [...] The only time it was a complete picture was on Oct. 11, 2023."

Lebanese News and Updates
We suspected that someone in Hezbollah had discovered the pager story. We found whom and eliminated him.
The most alarming factor for me personally is highlighted here, and its how well Israel was able to see in Hezbullah to be ale to discover something like this.
With each passing hour now, the IDF is receiving new intelligence. Not from the drones violating our airspace or the signal intelligence spying.
But from spies that we're arrested yet. From spies who will be recruited from both locals and from within.
Israel could have taken Sayyed Hassan from us at least a year earlier. Definitely more, and only did when they needed to. This is alarming to who succeeded and who will lead after.
Data security also transcends Hezbullah is a matter of a compromised national security because of the unattended to breaches in Lebanese state data and local companies.
From electricity, to telecom, to banks, to etc etc.
I also like to give an example. When Hezbullah fighters used to go to Iran, sometimes they would from Syria on Iranian planes so their identity is kept secret.
Imagine now, using civilian airlines because Bachar al-Assad's administration collapsed.
Imagine now, how hard it is for Iranian officers and namely public ones to visit Lebanon.
Etc etc

I remember many years ago when the previous Mossad Chief taunted how well they knew about Sayyed Hassan and how they could reach him.
This was not a bluff unfortunately.
Gallant in his interview also mentioned something very important. How they focused so much on Hezbullah and Iran but much much less on Hamas, and this is why they had a better insight on a lot of things.
This is true, and what allowed this is the safety Israelis felt and how Hamas was able to delude them into thinking so.
Israel was allowing Gazans to go work in Israel and Hamas stayed away from limited wars to ensure it can prepare for 7-Oct.
