As reported. This prisoner and the others were all kidnapped during the ceasefire not the war

So their kidnap was not only illegal and aggression but also a crime against civilians.
📰 The prisoners who were released yesterday are:

- Hussein Fares, captured on January 29, 2025
- Hussein Qutaish, captured on February 16, 2025
- Sayyed Ahmad Shukr, captured by Israel on January 26, 2025
- Muhammad Najm, captured by Israel on January 12, 2025

All of them are civilians, and all were captured by Israel during the truce.

All of them kidnaped after the Lebanese president was elected.

So not only was south Lebanon under the protection of his leadership, they were all kidnaped after the war not during it like how his account lied and falsely claimed

The 5th to be released tomorrow is? The Lebanese soldier who was shot and kidnaped a few days ago.

What's messed up is that the Lebanese army statement didn't even use the word kidnaped about their soldier and said "the idf TRANSPORTED"

Talking about the Lebanese army.....They issued a statement today saying:

"The Israeli enemy has erected an earthen berm near one of our positions in the outskirts of the town of Rmeish, and its removal is being discussed with relevant parties"

Can you imagine the Lebanese army allowed the IDF to build a new barrier near its base inside Lebanon, and doesn't dare remove it and has called on the UN and the US-headed committee to contact Israel to remove it!?

Diplomacy, mashallah...

🇱🇧l🇮🇱 Earlier tonight, in violation of 1701 and the ceasefire agreement the Israeli enemy army attacked the Beqaa valley

The IDF claims to have targeted a Hezbullah strategic weapon manufacturing facility, which they have attacked during the war and during the ceasefire

Based on this claim, the facility was likely intact from inside and only the entrances damaged. The IDF is likely attacking any attempts to access it again

🇱🇧l🇮🇱 In south Lebanon, Jewish occupation soldiers from the 21st Battalion of the Carmeli Brigade recited corrupted literature at the Magen Yehuda outpost

This is one of the 5 main IDF occupation bases that are in violation of the ceasefire agreement that stipulated a full Israeli withdrawal within 60-days.

Corrupted literature because modern Judaism doesn't teach Jews how to uphold agreements and laws

🇱🇧l🇮🇱 As for the other Israeli violations today:

- Israeli occupation forces fired machine gun bursts from the Asi position opposite Mays al-Jabal toward the outskirts of the town adjacent to the border.

- Enemy forces fired machine gun bursts from their position on Tallet al-Hamams toward the Wazzani orchards adjacent to the Lebanese Army checkpoint.

- Israeli drones were active over Ain al-Arab and Wazaneh area

Etc etc

As some are aware, the Information Branch in the ISF is one of the most technically advanced intelligence units in Lebanon which has many achievements.

The branch was the baby of the cooperation between the EU and both KSA and UAE on behalf of the Lebanese Sunni majority party the Future Movement (Hariri)

The branch also played a big role in uncovering many Israeli spies whenever they decided to care enough to work on the topic.

What I noticed in the few days and in brief:

- The Lebanese president wants to minimize the power of this branch and break it away from the Future movement in favor of the Lebanese army Intelligence branch

- The ISF leadership has been infighting over $ and a woman, as some media claim

- Pro-Hezbullah journalists have posted many tweets hailing the branch despite the political difference and expressed sadness that its most senior and capable officer (sunni) was not promoted to lead the branch

Here are the tweets that I thought were interesting and inspired this post. I'm not very knowledgeable and that deep in these details.

They talk good about Khaled Hamoud, who not leading the branch is a loss for it, but at the same time its weakening is allegedly a blow for 14-March and a relief to Hezbullah

🇱🇧 Today the Lebanese president picked the heads of the Lebanese security branches, filling the gaps.

The picks are interesting, especially the christian ones who all had a role in either commanding in south Lebanon or coordinating the ceasefire with the IDF (previous years etc)

🇱🇧l🇮🇱 Jews reveal their true color, and confirm they will never leave the 5 Lebanese hills regardless of the results of diplomatic negations with Lebanon

Jewish Defense Minister Israel Katz says the IDF will stay at five strategic points in southern Lebanon "indefinitely," regardless of negations over 13 disputed points on the border.

During an assessment yesterday with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and other top military officials, Katz "clarified that the IDF will remain at the five points that control the buffer zone in Lebanon, indefinitely, for the sake of protecting the residents of the north, and this is without any connection to future negotiations on points of dispute on the border," his office says.

Katz instructed the IDF to fortify its positions at the five strategic points and prepare to stay there for a long period, his office adds.

The IDF presence there voids the ceasefire agreement and voids the 1701

🇱🇧l🇮🇱 Citizen Jaafar Mustafa survived after the Jewish occupation forces opened fire on him while he was grazing his flock in the Wazzani Plain, which led to the death of a number of heads of livestock.

🇱🇧 And while Israel is at its height announcing a permanent occupation and while the Lebanese army is still begging the UN to remove a sand barrier created by the IDF inside Lebanon...

...the Christian Ministers in the Lebanese government have demanded the gov set a timetable to enforce the full disarmament and confiscation of Hezbullah's weapons

.... subliminally in hopes to eventually drive Lebanon into full surrender and normalization with Israel

In Lebanon, after the civil war where the Christian parties dragged Lebanon into its bloodiest era without any repercussions...

...the balance of power shifted toward the council of ministers and not the presidency which was the most powerful seat in the state and headed by a Christian

However despite that, Christians in Lebanon maintained an exceptional representation that extends from the president, to the head of the central bank, to the head of the Army and most level #1 jobs in the government and state.

Despite that, most appointments are meant to be discussed within the minister of council and in coordination with the PM.

What's interesting and what has happened, is that president Aoun whose election itself is not "constitutionally sane" has picked the new heads of security services alone and didn't consult the PM Nawaf Salam nor the minister of councils.

He alone picked the Christian positions, and for the Shia ones, consulted with Nabih Berri. Shia get the Head of General security and the deputy Head of state security.

So far, Aoun has been treating Berri well in terms of Shia state positions.

Nawaf had no say, and the government accepted the nominations without any protest.

The Lebanese Forces party who assumes they won the situation after the war, and now back in the government with 4 seats was also not consulted and they voiced "questions" but eventually didn't dare protest.

According to MTV, the LF party "had questions" but the council didn't allow discussion.

So where did Aoun get this much momentum and power?
