❗️After putting Hezbullah fighters on trial in the military court, the government is now punishing journalist

Judge Raja Hamoush has charged journalist Ali Brou with felonies and misdemeanors related to sectarian incitement during wartime, threatening to kill both the President and the Prime Minister, and disobeying and rebelling against government decisions.

They got released today after Hezbullah had demanded they be released by Monday, by the way

❗️ Updates on Lebanon:

- Lebanese Gov announced its ready to talk with Israel directly under any format outside Lebanon

- Lebanon's PM and President are furious about the Lebanese army statement about the countering of the Israeli raid in Nabi Cheet in the presence of "local armed support"

- Lebanese state, while hesitant to replace the army commander", is already discussing other names

- France's Macron called Netanyahu about Lebanon. Israel didn't say what it intends to do nor showed any promises. They are busy in Iran and only inflicting damage on Lebanon so far.

- Almost ALL Lebanese political parties are rallying against Hezbullah.

- PM Nawaf will meet the commander of the Lebanese army soon, to implement the decree to outlaw Hezbullah's military and security apparatus.

Nawaf is expected to rebuke Haykel over the army's statement and actions

The attack in Tebneen in south Lebanon, which targeted a motorcycle, killed one Syrian refugee and injured another

The dead Christian priest was anti-Hezbullah and a staunch advocate against it. He was killed in an Israeli double-tap attack.

He was checking the area of an Israeli attack near towm, that killed 3 Hezbullah fighters.

❗️ President Aoun declares war on Hezbullah, during war time in support of Israel

In his statement to the EU:

- Did these limited number of rockets and their negligible impact and effectiveness constitute a decisive element in the balance of power in the ongoing confrontation between the Iranian regime and Israel, or between Israel and Lebanon? Of course not.

- Did they provide a deterrent to prevent Israel from launching an aggressive response against Lebanon and its people? Absolutely not. Quite the contrary.

Did they achieve, even on an emotional level, a convincing revenge for the assassination of Supreme Leader Khamenei? Certainly not.

- Whoever launched those missiles wanted to bring about the fall of the Lebanese state, subjecting it to aggression and chaos, even at the cost of destroying dozens of our villages and the deaths of tens of thousands of our people. All for the sake of the Iranian regime's calculations.

❗️President Aoun: We call upon the entire world to assist us in supporting and implementing a new initiative, the components of which are as follows:

A - Establishing a complete ceasefire with a halt to all Israeli land, air, and sea attacks on Lebanon.

B - Expediting the provision of necessary logistical support to the Lebanese Armed Forces.

C - These forces will immediately take control of the areas of recent tension, confiscate all weapons therein, and disarm Hezbullah and its positions and depots, according to the information and data available to them. (Including south Lebanon)

D - Simultaneously, Lebanon and Israel will begin direct negotiations under international auspices to reach an agreement on the implementation of all the above details.
