Macron: We will provide aid to the Lebanese through non-governmental organizations, and it is unconditional support for the Lebanese people.

Macron: Our assistance to the Lebanese people will not pass through government agencies.

Macron: We are entering a new phase in which the stakes are greater in Lebanon or the region, and the French road map is the only available option and is still on the table.

Macron: France will not abandon the Lebanese people, and I will call on the international community to help Lebanon within 20 days and inform them of the latest developments. We demand that the results of the investigation into the causes of the Beirut port explosion be announced

Macron: I will act according to the collective betrayal of the Lebanese political forces, and all of them bear the responsibility and they will pay the price in front of the Lebanese people.

Macron: Does saying that we failed help? This will not facilitate the issue.

Saad Hariri made a mistake when he added a sectarian criterion to form the government. But he withdrew from that and agreed to the settlement in a sense that there is no trap for every minister.

Macron: President Berri also said that was a condition of Hezbollah.

Macron: "We will be name a minister, even if he was a Shiite"

Macron: Those who lock the doors are not concerned with the sanctions. What are the other options? It is not realistic to form a government without the Shiite community.

Macron: Can we form a government without the Shiite sect? This is unrealistic and there is fear of Hezbollah, but I will not send the French army to defend those who fear it.

Macron: The French initiative will not be removed from the table, and the officials must seize this last opportunity.

Macron: The Lebanese Hezbollah should not believe that it is stronger than it is.

Macron: Imposing sanctions on those who hindered the formation of the government in Lebanon will not be effective (aka there is nothing to sanction Hezbullah).

Macron: We are not afraid of a civil war, and sanctions do not seem to me the right choice at present and do not respond to the need, and what we have to do is apply political pressure.

Macron: The criminal and financial investigation of the Banque du Liban and the institutions that will be followed are the appropriate way to return the money to the Lebanese. I am ashamed of what the leaders are doing in Lebanon.

France: Macron: We are working in Lebanon according to the Taif Agreement.

Macron: I cannot take the place of the Lebanese President, and the others should look after their responsibilities.

I don't know what Iran's role will be in this period.

The policy of sanctions by the USA was not coordinated with us, contributed to exacerbating the situation.

Macron: I decided not to follow the path of declaring war on Hezbollah. This is futile and will destroy Lebanon.

Some leaders in the region are attracted by this road on declaring war on it. And we have to avoid that completely.

The Shiites in Lebanon must choose democracy.

France: Macron: I do not have any evidence that Iran has obstructed the situation in Lebanon.

France: Macron: We will work with regional partners, including Iran, regarding the situation in Lebanon.

Macron: Hezbollah faces a historic choice. Does it want democracy and Lebanon, or does it want the worst scenario (War)?

Today matters are in the hands of President Berri and Hezbollah.

Macron: In a month and a half, we will reassess the possibility of a service government in Lebanon or create a new charter, and we will see what happens from now to 6 weeks.
