The exchange rate is sharply decreasing and now it's 6,000 = 1$. That's a 1,000 decrease in one day and 2,000 in just the last 48 hours.

People are selling their stashed dollars thinking it will go back to normal, and the exchange offices are buying it all.

When they bought at 1,500 months ago they said we need to sell at the new rate to be able to buy again.

Now with the rate decreasing, they didn't fix the prices claiming they bought at high rates.
