In the 2006 war the IDF failed to penetrate a bunker in Beirut's Southern suburb that was believed to host Hezbullah's leadership and war room. The bunker is said to have been 90-150 feet deep.

IDF used 23 tons of explosives (40 JDAMs) and failed to penetrate it.

Lebanon TV crew was attacked by a party said to be Hezbullah after they left the area designated for journalists, and authorized by the army, to another. There was no details about what warranted such actions or the location that the tv crew was at.
