Intense IDF AF activity over southern Lebanon.

It started about 10:30 ish am.
Not the first missile deal with corruption. One of the early cases is the Crotale missile deal, that was exposed in 1972.

The commander of the army, Emile Boustany, got paid $10 million
commission for purchasing it.
Lebanon did not receive even one missile and the commander of the Army left to Syria.

At the time, Lebanon was deprived of the most powerful air defense system in the Middle East after the purchase of Mirage planes. We bought the Mirage in 1968.
The Mirage was one of the newest aircrafts on the basis that we (Lebanon) were part of the Arab detterence system, and an advanced radar was established in Sannine.

However, Israel destroyed it later as we did not have any deterrent missiles.
