50-year-old Reed has a 30-year criminal record and was on court-ordered electronic monitoring for an unrelated battery case at the time of the unprovoked attack.

Reed is currently being held on federal terrorism charges.

How a 14yo French Scout girl became the victim of an Algerian grooming and pimping network in France.

Lola, 13, was living a normal life centred on gymnastics and the Scouts in the south of France. After being raped she attempted suicide and went on a series of runaway episodes. She met an 18yo girl who presented herself as a “big sister”. The girl, acting as a recruiter for a network, was accompanied by three accomplices, one of them a recently released ex-convict.

According to Lola’s mother, her daughter was then introduced to prostitution. The process involved cocaine and nitrous oxide, physical violence, threats, and intense psychological conditioning.
On social media, photos appeared of Lola posing with wads of cash and message exchanges linked to escort sites.

Now 14, she is under the control of the DZ Mafia, an Algerian drug-trafficking gang based in the northern districts of Marseille. Originally focused on narcotics, the group has branched out into forced prostitution. Lola is forced to see 30 to 40 clients a day, constantly moved around and treated as a marketable commodity.

Her parents have had no news of her since 25 July 2025. They have filed several complaints with no visible follow-up. “The complaints don’t even reach the public prosecutor,” their lawyer denounces; she is already handling four similar cases this summer alone and notes that such incidents have multiplied tenfold in ten years.

In France, between 15,000 and 20,000 minors are believed to be victims of such networks, following a pattern almost identical to the British “grooming gangs” in Rotherham or Rochdale: targeting vulnerable profiles, using drugs to break them, and control by structured, community-based groups.

These cases highlight persistent judicial dysfunction, political and media indifference, and taboos, particularly around the perpetrators’ origins, that hamper investigations.

Lola is not an isolated case; she is an example of a modern-day “white slavery” trade now affecting the whole of Western Europe in the context of mass immigration.
