It was a pretty lonely place alongside Craig Kelly in the federal parliament this afternoon, as I was the only other MP to vote to proceed with the No COVID-19 Vaccine Passports Bill 2021. (That’s the two of us in the red circle and everyone else on the other side, voting against us.) This bill would have made it illegal to discriminate on the basis of vaccination status in this country.

The wealth of 400 Americans (the top 0.00025%) is now 20% of US GDP.

I'm not advocating we tax the wealthy more because I'm not a socialist.

That said, when's the last time you've ever heard any leftist say "tax the top 400" or "tax the top 100?"

I've never even heard any leftist say "tax the top 0.1%" or "tax the top 0.01%"

Leftists seems to only want to tax just the top 1%.

I am well and truly in the top 1% myself, but people like me are not running corrupt corporations or lobbying, or any of that.

Maybe the goal of leftists and self proclaimed "socialists" is not to care for the little guys. But to destroy the middle class and construct an astronomical wealth divide between ultra wealthy elites and the working class slaves.

As a long-libertarian. I believe in "the end justifies the means" so-long-as, the end maximizes freedom.

Example:
I would burn books that advocates for burning books.
I would advocate against policies that increases "freedom" in the short term but destabilizes society in the long term, leading to less freedom.
