Hyperborea
Gianfranco Drioli
Atlantis and Hyperborea - the two prehistoric worlds characteristic of the Golden Age; spiritual “poles” that nevertheless have a common origin. Traces of these highly advanced civilizations, apparently destroyed in a prehistoric cataclysm known as the Great Flood, are found in numerous myths and legends from around the world. The main centers of the Nordic cycle, Hyperborea and Thule, are found in the sagas, poems, and religious literature of many ancient peoples, such as in the Vedas and Homeric epics. This study aims to offer an overview of some concordant myths - Hyperborea, Atlantis, Eden - albeit with different expressions and interpretations, of this primordial Nordic homeland of the Indo-Europeans.

Reminds me of Caelus gripping the zodiacal wheel. Mithras appears to be doing the same here
