Our community has been pining for a reliable wallet that respects people’s privacy. I’m happy to say StackWallet fits the bill.

I spoke personally with the founder and learned it’s a wallet that is doing things properly. It’s completely open-source, non-custodial, and privacy-preserving by default. You can choose StackWallet official nodes or pick your own, and it has a custom backup to restore all your wallets if needed.

The UI/UX is excellent, making it a friendly wallet that supports Monero, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and others—with proper support for Monero. It also has a built-in exchange for quick in-app trades, plus a private mode that turns off connections for coin prices (no third-party connections).

This is a detached fork of the UAD project, which aims to improve privacy and battery performance by removing unnecessary and obscure system apps. This can also contribute to improving security by reducing (but not eliminating) the attack surface. Read the wiki for more details on getting started. Whilst UAD-ng can remove system apps, it cannot detect or remove potentially malicious system services or drivers baked into the firmware of your device by various vendors; some vendor-specific apps are only UI front-ends to vendor-provided system services, and as such disabling/uninstalling those apps will not stop a service from running. yt-fts - YouTube Full Text Search

yt-fts is a command line program that uses yt-dlp to scrape all of a #YouTube channels #subnoscripts and load them into a sqlite database that is searchable from the command line. It allows you to query a channel for specific key word or phrase and will generate time stamped YouTube urls to the video containing the keyword.
It also supports semantic search via the OpenAI embeddings API, Gemini embedding API and using chromadb.
