This is an important update ahead of our upcoming AMA on $LSCat.

As we shared before, the liquidity is locked and sent to the infinite wallet address, which means it is permanently secured and cannot be touched. That part of our project is safe.

However, we recently discovered a serious challenge: the wallet that receives the gas fee transactions was compromised. As a result, all the transaction fees are being siphoned away by a bot controlled by an unknown individual. This has prevented us from receiving the gas revenue needed to build and promote utilities for $LSCat.

At first, we considered creating a migration wallet where holders could send in their tokens and receive airdrops in return. Unfortunately, due to the way the original LSCat contract was designed — with a per-wallet limit to protect against whale manipulation — this option is not feasible.

So, after careful evaluation, we see only two possible paths forward:

1. Do nothing: Continue as is, but accept that all transaction fees will go to the attacker, which means no resources for promotion, utility building, or long-term growth.

2. Launch a new smart contract (LSCat V2): With the same vision and concept, but with improved security and protections. Holders would be able to sell their old LSCat tokens and buy into the new, secure contract.

As for those who locked their token on pinksale. Just make sure you have your screenshots, links and proofs. That’s all.
