The initiative, which focuses on fostering cultural exchange, creative collaboration, and tourism between Ghana and Ethiopia, will bring together notable figures such as Mesai Haileleul, Co-founder of Addis Fine Arts, and Wode Maya, Africa’s leading travel creator and YouTuber, alongside other creatives from both countries.

Hidden behind the bustle of Africa Avenue near Bole Printing Press, Joniya Studio is a modest one-room space founded by architect and artist Saron.
More than a gallery, it’s a place where art is created, shared, and experienced — from children’s classes and summer camps to sip-and-paint sessions with coffee. Though small, Joniya is carving out a unique space in Addis Ababa’s art scene, showing that art is as much about connection as it is about creation.
