The Diaspora Handbook and Crosspoint Sport Academy are co-hosting a charity football tournament on 8 January 2026 at the Crosspoint School in Dukem, Bishoftu, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The tournament is a co-ed competition open to participants aged 18 and older. In addition to the matches, the event will feature music, food, and beverages.
Entry fee is 800ETB for spectators ams 1500 for players.

The exhibition Recovered Files opens on 10 January 2026 at 6 PM, featuring a single reconstructed artifact based on data retrieved from a near-future timeline.
The ongoing series functions as a museum of future archaeology, using recovered image and material records to recreate objects that cannot be physically transported back in time.

ADDIS ABABA — Monday, 5th January , 2026 — BDA Business Development Administration and BDA Business and Agricultural Development P.L.C. hosted a joint donation event, providing essential care packages to 133 elderly individuals and families in need.
The initiative was carried out in collaboration with SCWOP, an organization supporting children, women, and older people for over 35 years.
The donated items included cooking oil, flour, macaroni, and soap. The event marks an important step in formalizing BDA’s commitment to social responsibility.
“This initiative represents the beginning of our culture of giving back,” said a BDA Group representative.
The effort reflects BDA’s belief that business success is most meaningful when it contributes to community well-being.
