Studio 11 in Addis Ababa presents "Escaping Eden," a solo art exhibition by Alexandra Mitiku.
According to the artist, the collection features works that explore themes of curiosity, departure, and the complexities of leaving a familiar environment.
The exhibition will be open from 10 am - 6 pm daily until 17 April 2026.

The event focuses on the cultural impact and history of Ethiopian popular music from the mid-20th century.
This event will feature Film Screening, A presentation of Éthiopiques: Revolt of the Soul, a documentary directed by Maciek Bochniak. And Q&A Session, A discussion featuring Francis Falceto, the producer responsible for the Éthiopiques series, who will provide context on the collection's development and legacy.
It is scheduled to take place on 11 March 2026 At Alliance Ethio-Française, Piassa Braanch, starting from 6:30 pm.

The paintings draw from narratives of the artist’s village and community, exploring memories and everyday experiences through expressive figures, layered colors, icons, and patterns.
The opening reception will take place on 14 March 2026, from 3 PM to 8 PM, with the exhibition running from 15 March to 5 April 2026.
Gallery hours are 10 AM to 7 PM, and the gallery is located in Bole, around the British International School, about 250 meters from Yod Abyssinia at KKare Homes, 2nd Floor.
